Here's my pet adoption story. I have two rescue dogs. The smaller, Rilla, has been with me for 2,5 years now. She's originally from Romania, abandoned as a puppy. She was first adopted by a finnish family (through a rescue organization), but they let her go, because Rilla feared their 1 year old child. She was quite timid at the start, but has became a happy, jolly and lively dog. She's quite shy and sensitive By nature and is still not comfortable with people she does not know, but she doesn't have to be. She loves to run unleashed in the forest and sleep close to me. I love her to bits.
My other rescue, Urmas, I've had for a month now. He's at least 10 years old (we don't know for sure), but has a spirit of a youngster. We're still learning to know each other, but I love him already. Urmas is originally from Russia and came to Finland by a finnish rescue orqanization. He has never really had a home before and has learned to be very independent. I've had to hide everything he could possibly eat, even bird's seeds (I feed the forest birds during winter time). Urmas loves everynbody and is not shy or timid at all. He's like a big teddybear, a bit clumsy.
I had to let go of my first rescue, Kaaleppi (my avi), 4 months ago. He was with me for 10 wonderful years and was euthanized at the age of 14. He taught me everything I know about dogs and I'll be missing him forever. Me and Kaaleppi fostered many dogs before we gave Rilla home.
Hope you don't mind all these photos.

Adams birthday end of month. Should we plan somethings? What should we do. Anyideas Was thinking that between the fires, mudslides, and including the fact that Adam has adopted a dog around a year ago, we could pick a California animal rescue organization and make a dedicated run of donations in Adam's name. Would probably get noticed. And they really need the extra help. they need to help domestic, as well as wild animals in these times. We just also should pick as a second, one international animal welfare organization, because for international fans it may be a bit more difficult to contribute to something that is specific to California. === Right now, I need to run and cannot search for the right choice, but maybe others have a specific charity in mind. Catch up with you later tonight.

I'm the crazy dog lady who will take in dogs others do not want, so I have many rescue stories over the years. My most recent source of pride is Boo, a half husky half something else I adopted from rescue at 8 weeks of age. Now at 1.5 years old, he has passed his tests and is a registered therapy dog. We visit assisted living facilities, hospitals, etc., and he charms everyone there. Brings a little happiness to their lives. Boo's mama was saved from the pound by a rescue group when she was pregnant. Had they not freed her, she would probably have been euthanized because she is a pit bull looking girl, and there are sooooo many such dogs with such a bad reputation that the shelter cannot find homes for them. Because of the rescue group, and the pet store which lets them show their dogs for adoption, I got my beautiful Boo, and now he is enriching lives around him. ETA: Now that photobucket is defunct as a free photo sharing site, how can I post my baby Boo's picture here? Is there another such site? Here are links if you want to see Baby Boo, and him now modeling his therapy dog attire. www.dropbox.com/s/d32sxf9cr0rgq4r/Boo%2010%20weeks.jpg?dl=0www.dropbox.com/s/rs90bndkagkwsf4/boo%20down%202.jpg?dl=0

JoBeth Williams is with Jenny Scherer. When you meet Adam Lambert and he has that OH SO COOL pose.. obviously something I need to master!! 😂😝😆😊 This looks like a kind of dress-up occasion. Not formal, but the women are in above-casual clothes. Wonder what the occasion was?

I think choosing a place to donate would be great tribute to Adam's love of dogs and his adoption of Pharaoh.
