IMHO, his explanation makes perfect sense. Don't know why it would not. He is a middle age man. There were no such freedom for gay men to express themselves in mainstream music when he was young. No, it really doesn't. This was his original statement: "This just did not exist previously." Previously to Troy. And Caulfield explained in a subsequent tweet that he meant that it did not exist previously when he was a young man. That would be about 20 or so years ago. Makes perfect sense to me. Surely he did not mean that Troye Sivan was the absolute first. Even besides Adam, there was Sam Smith, Frank Ocean, and a few others. All of this happening in the last 9 years since Adam. A big change from 20 years ago. You are expecting people to use precise language in Tweets. People make all sorts of language short cuts in Tweets to get their message across within the character limit (and some apps have not updated to the new longer character limits). I've done it myself, used a word that was not exactly right but basically got the message across in 1 word rather than my having to explain with 3-10 words. Plus, I don't always even think of the right word, or I just get sloppy in my word usage. Happens all the time! I would hate for people to take me to task for it. Folks usually understand that Tweets require some loose interpretation.

So any more decisions about doing something for our guy's birthday.. While we wait for info. on JCS ,et. maybe we could get something going to show our love to the Best of the Best talents, our Adam.. oops tearing up again. Why does the mention of his name make me cry... Geez. Here is an article listing Southern Cal. agencies. www.latimes.com/style/pets/la-he-pets-rescue-list-20150620-story.htmlAny one stands out to you? I was looking for a larger one, these seem all individual and small, maybe that is better from an operational standpoint, but i have trouble picking one, tbh. Anyone remember which one was Adam's? Not sure it is listed here. Sorry, I only got here, right now, and will also need to run again, just is a very busy time. So I cannot spend more time right now searching. If we can pick one organization, then we can also, if we want to, pick a crowdfunding website to set up a page, i.e. razoo.com or other. Upside, is that social media presence can reach further more easily, downside is, that these sites take a cut and charge you for the credit card processing fee. If their cut is 5 % and the fee is about 2.5 %, that reduces the result. but obviously, if it makes more people donate, then that makes up for it. Sorry, leave you with that thought for now, gotta run.... ETA: CauseVox.com may be cheaper....need to check that out more later.... If we are going to pick just one organization, then I think we should pick the shelter that Pharaoh came from and donate directly to that shelter. Otherwise, we could all pick a deserving shelter in our area to donate to. We could keep a list of shelters donated to and if possible send that to Adam with a Birthday Card. Besides the pets displaced by the wild fires in California, there are also many pets displaced by the hurricanes in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Puerto Rico, etc.

This is the web site of the Ventura County Animal shelter. It covers Ventura, CA which got hit by the Thomas Fire. The fire covered 2 counties, Ventura County and Santa Barbara County. Do you guys remember when Adam went with Alisan and I think Sutan to that place where we have him sitting in a stream? That is Ojai. One of the cities in Ventura County that was hit hard. Anyway, this shelter is a "no kill" shelter. But in order to stay that way, they need donations all the time. Just for your consideration www.vcas.us/
