In other words "calm your tits" lol. don't think that's what he's sayin'... he's giving us an update...just letting us know he's working on it and that it is taking longer than he thought? Yes he's asking for patience...but I don't think he is admonishing us...I KNOWS HE said "soon" (December 2016, when we were still looking at a 2017, early 2018 release ![BigCry](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/crysmiley1.gif) and has said so repeatedly until last summer) ...it sounds a little like he's started over...I'm probably over reacting but still...sometimes my patience I think he's just reassuring us that he's working on it, maybe he saw some tweets or posts somewhere about fan impatience, or maybe he's just excited. I was just being silly mostly.

Got to talk about something different for a moment. Thought I’d give you an update on some of these CA pet rescue charities.
I sorted through multiple of these crowd fundraising sites like Causevox and a few others, and in each case, the way they work is quite differently than I thought they would. They expect the fundraiser/organizer to become an intermediary, collects the funds themselves, and pass the totals on to the chosen organization, rather than sending the funds right away through to the intended target company. That, of course, was never my intent, and surely not yours either. Why would you send money to me, to have me then route it onwards on your behalf? That is nonsense.
So, I switched things around. I started calling the organizations we had previously discussed (that fit our intention to support CA animal rescue organizations), and checked
- Do they allow both CC and Paypal? - Can work with us as far as reporting a specified cause (i.e. HappyBirthdayAdamLambert) ? - Can they give me a grand total in the end?
The idea is that everyone can use the regular website of the organization to pay directly, but that we still get a grand total. Out of those that fulfilled these, I want to form a shortlist of organizations for our Birthday effort.
Marketing: Tweet the specific organization you are personally promoting, each time using a common hashtag, i.e. #HappyBirthdayAdamLambert. Similar for other social media...
Again, for internationals or others who'd rather support their own animal welfare organization, you would of course be welcome to do that, these organizations here are just suggestions that allowed us to make a more targeted group effort, on Adam's behalf and quite a few here had indicated that they liked that idea.
I know that any organization that is well run and fits the cause is going to do just fine and help an animal in need, but having a grand total makes it a bit more fun, I think.
With that altered plan, I started calling the organizations in question, and results are rather strange, to put it mildly. You would think that a phone call, that I am trying to route funds their way via a crowd funding effort, would make these organizations call me back in large numbers to scramble on board. Well no, there seems to be no one either operating the phone or getting back to me or interested in receiving funds. Even WalkMeHomeRescue has not called me back yet, and I left a message that was just about fundraising in general and a separate one that used Pharaoh as a bait. Nothing.
One lonely organization was immediately responsive and we are all set with that one. It is the first one on Momtomany’s list:
MarinHumane.org
There I have a contact, a promise to get a total after 1/31/2018, and I just owe them an email specifying what our key word is. (i.e. HappyBirthdayAdamLambert), and we are set.
Not only were they professional and called back quickly, they are also the organization that was recently in the news for taking in 45 animals from fires in Ventura county, so they are involved with those rescue efforts too.
At this point, I feel that I am running out of time waiting for any of the others to get their act together. Are there major objections to running the group effort with just one organization? I will leave a sliver of a slot open for a southern CA organization, especially WalkMeHome, if they get back to me, but for Northern CA, I suggest we are done.
So, this is an update. I would like to get the shortlist finalized tomorrow, so that for the weekend, and the whole week beyond that, we can tweet and run this on our site and any other site that some of our members might be involved in. Comments? Suggestions?

In other words "calm your tits" lol. lol. Yup. ETA: Marion, that's meant in an ironic or slightly teasing way, not a critical one, no worries. I am very happy to hear he is in the studio, and think he is putting more than enough pressure on himself to get done what he can before QAL Oz/Nz, and generally, to get it out there. I'd rather he gets it right, right for himself mostly, as he has to run with what he has for next 2 years or so. I am totally curious which direction he went in and what he's got, but I am not going to tweet anything or such to make him feel rushed. He has so much going on, it is quite amazing.

@adamlambert: Been in the studio a lot this past week and w many more sessions booked before I make my way down to Oz and NZ for more @queenwillrock tour dates in FEB & March. Feeling super inspired!!! New Era on the stove simmering on low heat. Slow cookin for maximum flavor. Yay great news! Adam said he would be in the studio in Jan. so no real surprise there. And he is confirming that he is doing just that. Won't make up any hidden or dire meanings about his statement as I'm just happy that he is working on his music. Can't wait to hear it because I think and hope it will rock. Best news I've read all day.

Feeling super inspired!!! New Era on the stove simmering on low heat. Slow cookin for maximum flavor. YES. He's working in the studio. Not sure about the low heat part.....that means it'll take a while to get cooked...lol I am so glad that Adam sent this tweet. I think it was important that he gave us fans a heads-up on where things for era4 are standing, and I am not surprised to learn that Adam is still "cooking" and taking his time. I have had a feeling for quite some time now that things may have changed a bit since back then when he talked about polishing his album. He may have scratched a few things, changed course, and may be even gone back to the drawing board. I have no problem with it. Art can't be rushed. And let's face it, he has been very busy with Queen. Really good that he communicated with us ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I'm happy. Most importantly, Adam is feeling "super inspired"!

I agree I Don't think Adam is trying to hamper speculation about his career. Like Calm your tits LOL. I think he is just informing his fans the current status and progress of the album. And what he is up to in the next few months. As for cooking slowly on the stove. I think he meant he is putting it on hold. Before he goes on tour. So it is simmering. Prob wont be an album till around August anyway. But hopefully before April, or around. We get a single.

DancyGeorgia, I certainly will, at least the result, not all the back and forth. But wanted to see what the reaction was, given that I obviously changed direction, when that first plan did not work out. Of course, now it is so late, that most sane people in the US are in bed and can't comment. Anyways, I'll get the one or maybe two organizations over to tomorrow's page, once I am back here online, late morning or so.

didilynn sorry, I miss read your comment ...and no, I would never tweet or comment something negative/pushy to Adam... I couldn't resist answering his comment under Alex Newells ig clip though, if there was something he was trying to tell us with a winking smilie...trying to be clever I'mma full out admit, that the tweet did sent me in quite a frenzy of impatience...ironically I was the one who just yesterday pointed out that the tour was only little over a month gone by and how lucky we are to get so much from him...I should really drink my own medicine ![EyeRollSmiliey](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/icon_rolleyes.gif) ...two more hours of sleep have helped calm me down again^^ Of course I don't want Adam to release something he's not happy with...great haste makes great waste...it's just sometimes my patience leaves me...
