Elton John announces final tour www.cnn.com/2018/01/24/entertainment/elton-john-retiring-final-tour/index.htmlI sure hope that Brian and Roger don't decide to follow Elton's lead. Although, Elton John stated that his main reason for retirement from touring was because he wanted to spend more time with his two young children, not because of his age. Also, Elton said that he will still be recording new music just not taking to the road again.

Rand Duren @randduren Jesus, please! Rand Duren @randduren Creator. Writer. Work in social media and marketing. Love: • pop culture • tv • drag queens • lady gaga • great music • gifs. Views are mine. #queer #boricua Seems everybody is excited about the falsetto...I’ve always thought that was the weakest part of his overall skill set. Where does falsetto fit in with more rock and r&b leaning? Hopefully, he has it all figured out and is not just chasing what Levine, Smith, and some of those are doing. I am way more than ready to hear HIS music again.

Q3, thank you very much. Hope many see it and can join in. ================================================ Vocals: Clearly Adam is not listening to people like Cassie and me, who love to hear his head voice. ETA: Or Graciejane above who seems to have typed pretty much the same thing at the same time as me, lol.If all the insiders are telling him 'falsetto hurrah', it's not really a wonder, is it? At very short moments, when he wants to express something angsty, falsetto can be an effective tool, but embracing it sounds more like whole songs or whole stretches of song in falsetto. Probably to compete with the kindergarten that is otherwise reigning the charts, and that does not have any other tool in the arsenal but falsetto, to reach those high notes. For Adam, falsetto is instrument number 3 or 4, at least in my book. After his gorgeous and angelic head voice, his unique, exciting chest/head mix, his powerful and awesome belting, and after using his story telling voice, which is not necessarily as high as the other 3, but warm and inviting. And I love his deep chest voice too, but that is the other end of the spectrum, of course. Adam's falsetto is fine, there is nothing wrong with it, it just is not anything special or unusual. He has a falsetto, just like Adam Levine has a falsetto, or Bieber, or Zayn Malik, or anyone else. Except that the others have none of all that other stuff that Adam has, in addition. Oh well. f'd up music biz. Making people average instead of special. Sorry, had to rant. =============

I listened to all three albums over a few days this past week for the first time in a long time (DH was out of town!), and I had to skip that damn Loaded Smile. Hopefully he's worked on the falsetto and strengthened it. But yeah, no Levine or Smith, please.

I have heard all I can stand of Sam Smith's falsetto singing. It's weak and sounds like he's singing through his nose. I hope to God Adam's not following that trend in his new music.

I hope the tweet really means is...
Hi everyone, I am in the studio working on my songs,
...and although I never been keen on using my falsetto (other than in a spot or two for effect) ...in this particular song...I am giving it a go!
