http://instagr.am/p/BgCJDAVHeMz Adam liked ^ From linked article with sound cloud of his song: “Tonally, the biggest influences for me right now include Rüfüs dul Sol, Bob Moses, Jamie Woon, Years & Years, Sofi Tukker, James Blunt and Troye Sivan. More personally, I'm incredibly lucky to have so many talented musician friends—established and emerging—who are on the same journey as me, finding their way and stepping into their light. Marley Otto of the Colour Coast, Justin Michael Williams, Bebe Huxley, Jake Shears, Adam Lambert and Rocky Heron have been particular sources of influence and support. Whether that has been helping me build the courage to recognize myself as an artist or listening to a endless amount of mixes, these people have lifted me up in their own way and I truly believe that when one wins, we all win. Because of this, I feel a deep sense of mutual support and resonance in our community of musicians.”

Hello all - just dropping off a little gift courtesy of my friend and wing woman B... WWTLF Melbourne Show 1. I know we haven't had many good vids from that show this one isn't super close up but sound is pretty good. (cassie I know you had been waiting). I think there was another one the other day but thought I'd share anyway... youtu.be/NoiW2EvnSskOne of my favorite renditions of this song. Lots of little subtle interpretive choices which tug at my soul. Masterful! thanks for finding this. As it happens didn't have to find it. B emailed me the link as a thanks for the ticket. I didn't know she'd recorded it so was lovely surprise. Glad to be able to share it.

I hope if they do a Vegas residency they will do these two. I could listen to them forever.

I'd forgotten about this
and I wish everyone could have this course of discovery, this course of acceptance

Hmm, here is a picture of Adam posted four hours ago of Perth. I would guess airport as she's met other celebrities. I wonder if that Sydney IG was a throwback to earlier last month. I think the pic with the girl was taken in their hotel in Perth (... the signs in the background say spa, ballroom, etc.) on the day that Adam made the bike ride, and she posted it only now.

Yeah, you are right. Same outfit.

I would be scared of this because of what happened to Kerry Ellis on the UK Voice. I wasn't sure why she was on the show because I thought she was established. Maybe just people who are in the theatre and not the general public know about her? Unless he was purposefully disguising his voice, pretty sure the judges would recognize Adam. I think that Adam would get a 4-chair turn by contract before he would ever even do it. That said, I think you may be right -- his voice is distinctive. At least Kelly would know it. And even without a 4-chair guarantee, and he they had no idea who he was, they would all turn their chair for Adam. I have no doubt he has a chair-turning voice.

And even without a 4-chair guarantee, and he they had no idea who he was, they would all turn their chair for Adam. I have no doubt he has a chair-turning voice. He has a chair turning voice, obvious great technique and an ability to convey emotion with just his voice. Also... I am sure the audience would react. But I have seen shows where nobody turned for a brilliant contestant. My husband (who is a singer himself) and me have sat in front of the television absolutely astonished sometimes at who is not going through. We analyzed this and we think that sometimes judges don't turn for people who are too good, people that they think they can't improve on. Because with those contestants the judges can't take credit for the success. And it makes for a less interesting story. So while everybody absolutely should turn the chair for Adam, there is no guarantee that everybody would. Those shows are about a lot more than just astonishing voices.
