I have almost gotten bored of the onslaught of stellar reviews and unconditional Adam love, so it is okay for me to read a line or two that make me go, "interesting, wait a minute". This... "His voice is undoubtedly phenomenal, and hits all the right notes, but lacks Mercury’s depth and edge, and at times the pitch perfect delivery and choreographed moves end up reminiscent of a Disney princess." It's an opinion. The writer probably sees a difference between the rather raw rock concerts with Freddie, and the well oiled "show" they put on with Adam - costume changes, Fred the prop, and bicycle included. Not sure if Freddie would have ever come up with the idea of sitting on a prop that raises him to the stage. Lets' face it, we can't quite take the theater kid out of Adam, and why should we? It works what they do! Besides, I like the thought of Adam being called a "princess". It's basically the more youthful version of a queen Yeah I Think the reviewer is distinqushing the difference between the technical sides of the show. Almost like Adam is too perfect for his own good. He is arguably technically the best vocalist ever live. Where as Freddie was not always technically sound, or pitch perfect. So some prefer Freddies rather raw rock presentation. To Adams Well Oiled machine. Pros and Cons to it end of the day. Funny about Theater. Queen was all about the dramatics and the theatre. Freddie was through and through a pure rock singer. Adam has a more pure, and pristine, clarity to his voice then Freddie did. But Queen was always about the drama and the spectacle. And I feel Adam has brought that back to Queen.

For me, "it ain't that deep". I most certainly know what Adam's well oiled machine as part of the Queen circus does to me... definitely a lot more than what a Disney princess has ever gotten close to haha

I think somebody may be missing his ace...lol So this is a new little sneaky tease of a new song? Sounded fine from what I heard, but it's not much to go on. Just happy that SOMETHING is out there! Huh?

By the way: Roger is already back home in London. Rufus posted a video , where the whole family is celebrating his birthday and is having dinner.

I absolutely agree with Ring of Fire coming in at 1st place. But there are 5 Adam songs/performances that really were off the charts for me. In no particular order. Ring of Fire Tracks of My Tears Mad World (long black coat) Whole Lotta Love Change is Gonna Come The Change is Gonna Come performance was very haunting for me. For some reason with that performance, as great as it was, I sensed he had lost and I was devastated. But the end was a new day. The press raved about him more than the winner. He was great and relaxed in interviews. Fans were very supportive. And I knew then that everything would work out for him. And it did. And the Idol tour just put an explanation mark on the whole damn thing. Adam was a cut above the rest on that tour. And still is today, imo.

Overall a good review. But the highlighted part I don't get. Part of what I love about Adam in the Queen tours is that his moves are NOT choreographed. And unless I am not understanding what was meant by the Disney princess dig, Adam is more masculine, hot and sexy than Freddie ever was. Not that it really matters but Adam does not want to be Freddie or just like Freddie. Let it go and enjoy the QAL show for what it is. I see what you did here!
