WTF with this production?!!!!!!! Still no Judas/Brandon. Do you think it's because Brandon is relatively an unknown? Would Adam have gotten included in the promo, if he were Judas? Or is this just the way it was always going to be, no matter who had the part? I mean Judas IS major!! My bet is this is how it would have been no matter who was signed to play Judas. Credits are by contract -- and the contracts with the big 3 were signed first. Renegotiating those deals would have been out of the question. Plus, 4 stars in main credits is too many. Alice Cooper "should" have been offered a featuring credit. Looks like they believe featuring Alice Cooper will help build an audience for this TV program. I continue to be relieved that Adam is not in this and that I do not "have to" watch it. All in all, Judas is usually the #2 credited role and the vocal showcase part. Clearly, that is not the plan. And that seems likely why Adam is not in this. There is no chance he would have or should have done this without a main credit. We don’t know (At least I don’t) exactly what order things went down but Adam was in the mix by all indications very early on. He was simply too engaged with the announcement of Alice and the first few promos not to have still been seriously still in the mix in early December. The long delay between announcing John and Sara may very well have been due to things finally cratered with Adam. Had he been cast, things on the promo end would have likely looked very different than they do now.

Startled for sure but I wouldn't say scared, she saw the money so it was the face which he made sure she saw. Recognition and maybe almost broke out of character? Morgan was startled for sure, how fun to suprise an old friend like that.

It looks like Adam is making up for lost time in the partying department. He looks very bleary-eyed to say the least. Hope he got a ride home. I feel bad that he can't even go out and unwind without there being videos and photos. He almost always needs to be "on". Maybe he doesn't care but.... Adam doesn't run and hide either. He's right there where the cameras are, not shying away. He just decided to party it up and think what the hell.

And I would think, Adam could change that, if he wanted to...

This whole show from the get go has been a big They have been struggling w preproduction elements - a lot - but they have an amazingly skilled team. The venue is a challenge in many ways. If anyone can work it out this group can, but there’s also the gap between the production that was envisioned for almost a year and casting that doesn’t mesh well w that vision - w added pressure of short timeline. It’s a bit like rebuilding an airplane in flight. The most fraught productions often turn out really great - that panic energy, but fair to say there’s more anxiety than usual and a lot of focus is on nailing down technical production, while sub teams work to ensure all else will fall to script. Often, parts of the team are sorry it’s one and done - so far, not so much. (As for the promo, this is an angle that was not part of the original vision. And Dixon has everyone’s respect, esp since he brings production experience, and if anyone can overcome being somewhat miscast...Same w Sara to certain extent.) Following Bway twitter it’s rather quiet on JCSL! People hope for the best and maybe it will all gel If you can share, what do you mean by struggling with preproduction elements? What’s been going on? iI wondered about the venue when it was first announced. The selection of that big old warehouse for a live with audience music production just seemed off to me, it has to be an acoustical nightmare.
