www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDGJiOPoLKI&list=RDPDGJiOPoLKI&t=12I am loving the group tryouts on American Idol tonight. I like the format much better than the voice.. More authentic ,like real tryouts... . thinking Chorus Line. The singers have to stay up all night to work on a group number. they come to audition usually exhausted, hungry, etc. but they still have to perform. a small taste of show business. So of course I thought of our guy and found his group audition.. Adam was unbelievable....Sorry you can listen to whole thing ,if you start from the beginning.. I goofed and got it in the middle...oopsy Well, this sent me down the rabbit hole......found this once again youtu.be/HIKUFwbK40Q

So, I have been watching the The Voice - really the first time except for when I would catch Alison off and on. Now they are doing the part where they are paired with another team member and they both sing the same song together — duets. Made me think of all the duets that Adam has done — he always seems to excel when paired with another. He can make his voice blend so well with someone else’s voice. Remember Titanium with Angie Miller (I think)? That was beautiful to me. Sometimes I wonder if he might benefit by touring with an ensemble — like he does with Queen — but a group of his own making and singing his own songs — a lot of blending of harmonies etc. We all know that he can more then hold his own but his voice intertwined with another is very unique too. Just thinking out loud...... youtu.be/q6KdTQc1I5A

It was nice to see that video again. Beautiful duet! The problem with the duets in The Voice is that the contestants are forced to try to out sing each other because it is a competition. However, The Voice has never really been about the contestants. It's reality television and it's all about the ratings. I'm not saying that is a bad thing -- it's just the way it is.

I get what you mean, but then I watch Adam slaying it in "Love Kills" (thanks for posting) and I don't really want any distraction coming from other singers. I just watched that old favorite of mine and died a little, again.
