** Steve Booker is Pop Rock producer. I am getting very excited about A4. Many things seem to be pointing to Pop-Rock album. That makes me so happy. Adam worked with Born's producer too. Also with Adam saying in the interview, some Queen influence for sound and content for his album. And performing in front of fans all over the world, he hopes some will be interested in this album. I am over the moon. I have often thought that if he gave them something to be excited about, he just might capture some of the Queen audience for his solo shows and album. Even if a small fraction were added to the existing fans of his solo work, it would be great. Fans are fans and you can never have too many. So excited.

What a tremendous interview!!!! Such a treat!!! Is this new?! So much info on his journey with Queen and how it has influenced his personal and professional life and how it has helped him grow. Love it, love it, love it. I was thrilled to learn that Queen has informed the sound and content of his next album, which he has been working on for a year now. Also... (and I hope this interview was conducted post JCS announcements)... when Adam talked about his interest in acting he said he has something in the can?!!!! I am also curious what charity project exactly he is going to be involved in - it seems like it has something to do with Glaad. So much to look forward to!!! OMG!!!! I have to go back and watch once more, but cool how the interviewer mentions Adam's "glow" and star quality, how he gets Adam to talk about the challenges of a double life between stage persona and private life and what lies underneath and how it makes for great songwriting, and how hard it is to get off stage once the adrenaline is still going or even worse, come home from tour and feeling the need to re-adjust slowly as it is like recovering from jetlag. Cool that he talked a bit about dating and how he has learned that contrary to writing music, there is a lot less control in the romantic department. I am sure glad that Adam has had plenty of time to re-group between Queen tours in order to focus on his own music. I really can't wait!!!!! Sizzling......this was done just a week or so ago when Shosh was in LA...so it's recent. He did some kind of shoot too with the buckled shoes....or we assumed it was Adam...Shosh was in his backyard, etc. Thanks, bamafan! I thought so, but wanted to make sure. I am so excited!!!!!!!!

Actually, this is an Audio Goniometer. (Not a regular goniometer which measures angles, although in a sense the audio goniometer measures the "angle" between Right and Left audio channels.) And it looks like an analog audio goniometer, i.e., it looks like an oscilloscope CRT display rather than a digital display. A digital spectrum analyzer tool package might include a digital audio goniometer. But the analog CRT display is useful because the persistence of the phosphorescent trace helps to see the overall shape of the signal over time. If you have ever seen a display of Lissajous figures on an oscilloscope, the audio goniometer works on basically the same principle. It plots the left audio signal versus the right audio signal, with axes rotated 45 deg. The signal shows the amount of stereo in a dual-channel audio signal, i.e., correlation between right and left audio signal. A signal on the left channel only would produce a diagonal line running top-left to bottom-right. A signal on the right channel only would produce a diagonal line running top-right to bottom-left. Identical right and left signals would produce a vertical line. Different right and left signals would produce a "fluffy-looking ball". Generally, the audio goniometer is use in the mastering phase of audio production, which is after the mixing phase. So I think the only meaning is that they are further along in the music making process. See a more detailed explanation on Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goniometer_(audio)This youtube shows a digital audio goniometer starting at 5:30. It explains the R, L, M, S axes. ht tps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PU9MAFS7J-M Dancy - thank you so much for the explanation, it was fascinating. I always appreciate it when you share your technical knowledge. I love science.
