Hello all you fellow Atopers who have been MIA! Nice to hear from you! I just looked to see if there are any Vegas meet up threads. Couldn't find any. It seems we're all scattered over the various dates. It would have been fun to have one big Atop jamboree, but not easy to coordinate. I hope to meet some of you though! Well THAT'S fixable!

[blows dust off wand; frowns; retrieves polishing cloth from carpetbag]
[scrubs down wand; checks it for sparkle; waves around a few times to ensure glitter output]
[waves wand at Members Only section of Adamtopia]
There is now! Enjoy!!
Thanks! You remembered how!

I know it's nowhere near concert day, but I've missed 'em.

Żæddy (Beluga Barbie) @ambarikmo I saw @adamlambert outside the stage door for Boys in the Band, and tbh I’m still SHOOK. So the stage door - does that mean he went in and met the actors? Yes, his friend Charlie Carver is in the cast. This is him in the middle with Adam and Eric instagram.com/p/BiiQfNfAqRE/?taken-by=stretchyman

Won't be in Vegas this round either, just not in the cards, for family and a few other reasons. Will be watching you all from afar, but I am very happy for all who already got tickets and I'm crossing my fingers for those that still are shopping around for good seats.
Peeps on twitter should stop pushing Adam for his new music. It will come, when it is supposed to. Adam has the experience from rca what a management change at the wrong moment can do to your own album and he is seasoned enough now to know how to work with that, whatever hand he is dealt. Some hands you need to fold, rather than force yourself to play. I blindly trust him there, and if that means that I have to wait, then so be it.
Besides that Adam with his 'second gig', is filling potential holding patterns with wonderful QAL concerts, Vegas residencies, and other major goodies, it is not like he is sitting at home and diddling his thumbs.
In addition, the years where B&R can still keep going are obviously not endless at this point, so that all comes together quite nicely.
So, the solo stuff waits a little longer. It does not matter for him. And that, in itself, is quite an amazing thing to watch. Adam has such a commanding presence, that when he shows up, people listen up, even if it is years later. It's like he is carrying this invisible megaphone around his neck, everything he says gets immediately picked up and spread far and wide. Quite amazing.
There are so many other artists that have to fight to be heard or noticed at all, and they are often on this hamster wheel of having to produce their stuff on schedule, and are financially not as free as Adam to set his own agenda and timeline.
He is also so smart and resourceful, and he manages and negotiates prudently with the interests of his own long term career in mind. That Adam can pick his own path and timeline, that is major, at times that matters more than the money.
In the end, QAL, besides all other benefits, allows him to have that ability to negotiate his interests flexibly. i.e. he has the flexibility to not always needing a paycheck. Where many others have to hustle, Adam can negotiate. Big difference.
So let's just enjoy the bounty of Queen concerts, believe me, we will be missing it, before too long, once it is over.
These interviews were wonderful though, what a gift. And I can see here on this site, how many folks have been quietly listening, because it is great to see so many old names showing up again.
Cheers to all of you!

What Craazyforadam said lol. She's more eloquent than I am.
And since I'm usually in here every day, where is the "members only" portion of the board? I'm always in the Daily Thread, don't really know where any of the other little gems are hidden away.
So excited for everybody that gets to go to Vegas....can't wait to read all the reports. I just sit behind the keyboard and absorb all the excitement and flailing from you guys. Thanks for that!

Can't afford much more than a basic Vegas ticket, but just called Park Theatre ticket office and was quoted $94.43, $114.88 and $168.19, which includes all fees. Didn't bother asking for the next prices, etc., because I'm not in that ballpark. Ticket office phone was 844-600-7275. I am determined to go to this as my summer outing. I decided to be frugal this time, found there were lots of front row balcony seats available for my date (September 5), $120 including fees. I know that doesn't work for the ones who want to be up front, but it gives a great overall view with no one in front of you blocking that view. I think the venue is small enough that almost any seat will be good. I'm just sorry we won't see you this trip :( since I'm going on the weekend. But see you soon anyway .

Yes, this is a smaller venue which means that even with a cheaper seat, you won't be up in the nose bleed level like you would be in an arena. I'm still debating. May call that ticket office number tomorrow. Thank you for adding it.

One of the most wonderful things about announcement days....ticket presale days....is that old and dear member of this site that no longer post regularly come back to prove that they are still around/invested and interested in Adam and the rest off we mortals. Welcome y'all....good to hear from you!! You are missed!! Well, don’t know that I’m a dear member, but I’m definitely an one from PF days..and I just dropped in to say I bought a ticket to the show on the 22! 😁

Hi Svca!
If you haven't found it yet, the Members Only section - which only shows up when you are properly logged in as it's invisible if you lurk! - is best found like this:
1) Click on the "Home" text (look up and to the left on the purple bar) 2) Scroll about 2/3 down 3) Look for the Members Only section between the Adampedia and the legend 4) Wander through and enjoy!
