I've always wondered why Soaked doesn't have more plays. I think it really shows off his voice and it actually is my favorite on the Acoustic set. Me too! That's my go to song when I play that CD.

Direct link. Seems to me he's packing for his trip to Europe! Exciting to have him close again.

Yay, Adam is on the move ! OTH, poor Pharaoh. Wonder if he's staying with Grandpa in San Diego.
And agree about Soaked, one of my favorites on FYE...loved it on first listen.

The first time I saw Shawn Mendes was because of Adam -- and I was very impressed with him. It was a short set at a radio promo event. I have since become a fan. Fans have always been interested in the sex lives of rock and pop stars. I think that the questions that are asked are different now. That said, the Shawn Mendes sexuality questions come from things I find to be a bit offensive -- his use of certain words that are "gay" like calling people honey, and his hand motions and expressions. I really thought that we left this kind of "gaydar" detection back in the last century. Remember in all those early interviews when Adam was asked so often how good his gaydar was? He took it all in good humor and played along, but he probably got pretty tired of it. For a while there, every interview seemed to settle on the topic of his sexuality. It was all kind of playful and wasn't meant to be mean. To many interviewers, I'll bet it was a real novelty to be able to ask a gay man such question and really get answers. And Adam was so easy-going and eager to be the nice guy, that he went along with it. He was asked things about his sexuality that I don't recall any other gay celebrity was ever asked, at least in a public interview. But Adam went along, and in doing so, he opened a lot of eyes and minds. So in the long run, it might have been a good thing. And yes, it looks like he's getting ready to leave for the UK. Can't believe all those rings and stuff. I'm really interested in the LGBT event he'll be doing on May 31. Supposed to be a Q&A, I believe. Then on to the QAL tour! Vids galore! New outfits! Maybe a set list tweak or two!

I imagine Pharaoh will be going to Eber's. He loves it there because he gets to be with his girlfriend, Hazel. I don't think Pharaoh is lonely. And I agree, Soaked is one of my favorites, too. It's a masterpiece. Loved that moment during the FYE tour when he got to that one part of the song where the audience gave him that sustained cheer of adulation. He would just stop singing and bask in the glory for a few seconds till the love-moments passed, and then finished the song. Ahh, memories.
