Yes, it’s great to have Adam back in our timezone! 😁 I have one question though: Adam always writes, that he comes to Europe and the UK. As a European I‘m always wondering: The UK is a part of Europe. Why is he distinguishing between these two? The UK is one country in Europe as well as Spain, France, Italy , Germany, the Netherlands ect. Is anybody else wondering about that? I ALWAYS find it weird. 🤔 This wouldn't be the first time that Adam got a bit confused with geography haha. Didn't he once assume that he had flown to Scotland in 2011 in order to perform with Queen at the MTV European Music Awards, while the event actually took place in Belfast/Northern Ireland? Well, still within the UK On a more serious note, and this is only my interpretation, as the UK is physically separated from the mainland of Europe they may tend to set themselves apart a bit, and Adam may have taken on that mindset as well. Besides, remember the shock when Brexit happened? Any Brits here for input?

Once again, I use the word historically in that Europe has always felt the UK to be part of Europe. Its the Brits who see themselves as separate. Generally speaking, of course.

OT. I wanted to congratulate ABC for making the right decision. I will also be visiting Starbucks more often.

As I said in one of my later posts: I came to the conclusion, that Adam simply adopted that saying from his English friends. (My Scottish friends don’t do this, but that’s a completely different story.) . I found it the weirdest, when Adam, the American, came over for his solo-tour and said, he’s touring the UK and Europe. That sounded so wrong. Why should he emphasize on the 2 gigs in England? But hey, I take it as just a „bad“ influence. 😉 Maybe Sauli should school him.

Got my email. Got my Attitude. Gonna be one expensive magazine! The things I do for Adam! lol My "Attitude-Magazine" also already arrived yesterday but I didn't get to see it so far! My dear husband took it away and hided it from me because it will be one of the (hopefully many, lol!!! ) birthday-presents for me next month! Oh no, I have to wait four more weeks! But at least I asked him to look inside the envelope to see if I got the right cover and ... it was the one with Adam! YAY!!! That's a funny story. Poor you having to wait! I didn't mean mine had arrived -- it's just I was too late to order it last week and today I ordered it through Newstand. I don't expect to have it in my hot little hands for a while! sigh (On a side note, the past tense of "to hide" is "hid" -- silly English!) lol

nightowl You will find that lots of North Americans make the distinction. And yes, the Scots historically feel separate from the English!
