If he is with Safehouse, does this mean he is no longer on a major label? Good question. It‘s a new label. I even wondered, if he could be internationally still with Warner then? He is still in there roster over here. Edit: Safehouse Records belongs to Universal Music Group. That’s what I found on Wikipedia: „The first official album to be released from the label was Lovato's fifth studio album, Confident (2015), followed by Nick Jonas X2, the re-issue of Jonas' self-titled second album. On December 15, 2015, it was announced the record label signed a joint deal with Universal Music Publishing Group, and also welcomed Chord Overstreet to a publishing deal, as part of Safehouse Publishing“ But we don’t know, if Adam joined them,. By the way: Is Queen also still with Universal Music Group? 🤔

I asked, and it’s true. My friend has no other details. Thank you for the information. So my guess is, he didn’t just swap his management to Philymack, but also the label (Safehoude Records), My information is, that Mack does have his own roster (and is not only managing them) at this new label. You can find it on the Philymack homepage. Just scroll the artist list down till the end. There is some information about the. If this is true, it might very well have been Adam’s own decision 👍. From what I‘ve read, PhilyMack could be perfect for Adam. I‘ll take he glass at least half full. Well, I guess I'm feeling a little better. Not in panic mood at least. These artists seem to change labels quite a bit. Hope that if this is true, it turns out to be a good move. Adam certainly must consult with people and get advice.

I just unfollowed WarnerBrosPromo and Warner Bros. Records on Twitter. Now I won't have to see tweets about Bebe Rexha or Dua Lipa, etc. Helps to declutter my Twitter feed.

Not surprised, the handwriting has been on the wall for a while now.
I have often wondered though, if Adam would eventually put together his own small label (much like Safehouse), for both his own music and a select few others. He always shows a lot of interest in small up and comers. With the right backers and contacts it could be a very interesting and potentially lucerative venture for him.

I noticed that Adam has really been liking a lot of songs by Shawn Mendes. Shawn is with Island records. Island records is the label the Philymack's safe house distributes
under. Safehouse/island is a major label..Makes sense if Adam has gone with them...The only thing I find upsetting is folks saying that Adam has been dropped... IMHO Adam is the dropper. If you look at labels rosters ,they keep artists for a long time, even when they don't produce anything..
All will be known .. back to Queen and Adam

No need to be in any panic mode at all. I thought that the writing was on the wall since a while.
a) Adam delaying his album, and it was quite apparent or at least seemed to me apparent that this was his choice. He was not going to do the same thing that he did during TOH, which was ignoring the managerial change, and hope for a different result the second time around. This time, he was holding all the cards and decided to go into a holding pattern until the dust at WBR had settled.
b) Adam clearly filling the wait time with lots of QAL activity, thereby helping that Queen cooperation in its most essential years.
c) Adam clearly pivoting towards being visually and in his public persona more directly associated with the LGBT causes, rather than less, indicating that any previous attempts to target a more mass market by 'toning it down' was not happening. Adam was going to be himself, and he was going to let the chips fall where they may. We are going to get a more edgy Adam again, I would guess.
d) Adam's regular attention to Demi, NJ, and PhilyMack, and eventually the managerial change on his part. The only thing that did not quite fit with that, was that the Idol performance that was suspected, did not come about. My guess, is that the final negotiations with WB happened rather recently, and he did not want to influence the outcome by preempting which way the chips had fallen. But that is just a guess on my part.
e) Adam recently was also quite expressive about how major labels struggled to know what to do with him visually lyrically and from a market placement standpoint, and while most statements were interpreted as being RCA related, he did not say 'my previous label', something he would have done, if he wanted to separate WB from RCA, he just talked about the suits in general.
f) Streaming will be very important in this next phase + whatever PhilMack can do. Adam will always be fine though. He is financially free to do the music he wants to do, does not have to follow current trends, and he mentioned quite a few times, that this was influential for the last few albums, and that he is going away from that.
I think the writing was on the wall, and I am not surprised at all. Now what will come instead is going to be a big question. Because his rather vague or all-over-the-map indications on where his new album was going, were not giving me too much to work with yet.
Right now, I am going focused on this let of the Queen tour, and take that the rest will come about eventually.

www.losangelesblade.com/2018/06/06/las-vegas-headliners-are-a-pantheon-of-queens-and-divas/Queen with Adam Lambert (Sept. 1-2, 5, 7-8, 14-15, 19, 21): The far end of the summer will still be hot when one of the most legendary rock bands of all time – fronted by one of the most successful former contestants in the history of “American Idol” – comes to the Park Theater at Monte Carlo (3770 S Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, Nev.) for an extended run of shows. Queen, of course, exploded into the spotlight in the ‘70s, turning its one-of-a-kind lead singer Freddie Mercury into a pop culture icon and giving the world some of its most enduring classic hits. Mercury, of course, was lost to AIDS in 1991, but the band lived on and has re-emerged to dazzle a whole new generation of fans, thanks to the addition of Lambert – a performer cut from just the right theatrical cloth to fill Mercury’s shoes as front man for the band. His flamboyant presence and vocal virtuosity are a perfect fit with Queen’s over-the-top, operatic style. Adam has enjoyed a dazzling career on his own, too, with three hit albums under his belt, and has used his platform as a star to become a powerful advocate for LGBTQ acceptance and equality. When outed by a leaked photograph of a kiss with another man during his season on “Idol,” he shrugged it off by saying he had “nothing to hide” – and soon afterward confirmed himself as gay in an interview with Rolling Stone. He has continued to push the boundaries of acceptance, and he has also worked with organizations like GLAAD and the Trevor Project to promote and empower LGBTQ people through philanthropy and activism. His status as an out and proud queer man, coupled with his prodigious talent, makes him a diva of the highest order – and his partnership with Queen is a celebration that is not to be missed.
