Dick Clark sold DCP in 2007 and was not really active in the company or its management in 2009. So it was DCP, not Dick Clark personally.
The company still runs on although is up for sale and has not transitioned to the new media world well.
They are the largest producer of live entertainment television in the world (per their website). They produce the American Country Awards, American Music Awards, Golden Globes, Billboard Music Awards, Hollywood Film Awards, NBA Awards, and Streamy Awards. Also, Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' New Eve with Ryan Seacrest, So You Think You Can Dance, For the Record Live, plus some international shows.
And, I do not believe that Adam has been on any DCP show since the 2009 AMAs. (I have not checked this and actually hope I am wrong.)
Way back, shortly after the AMAs, there was this wonderful performance on So You Think You Can Dance. And, look, spats! Adam wore them for a while as part of his glam dandy look. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsQBZFWJT6speace&love I loved this performance - everything about it!
