This is a perfect pic.....doesn't get any better than this IMO I see a bit of John Barrymore. He does have that classic profile. He reminds me of those handsome actors of the 30s and 40s, all dressed in tuxedos, holding those long cigarette holders, and escorting a gorgeous blonde woman into a fancy party. He has amazing natural beauty and he uses it very well.

Long interview! NME @nme “We’ve become a family”: @adamlambert on Queen, his solo career and how Simon Cowell got woke fal.cn/yoJd "How would you feel if you lost a job? You'd say anything" No-one could ever replace legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, but fans have taken warmly to singer Adam Lambert since he began performing with the band in 2011. Adam found fame on American Idol, where he first auditioned with ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, and eventually caught the attention of original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor – dream come true stuff. This is a big year for Queen fans, with a massive North American tour coming up in September and the upcoming Freddie biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, due for release in October. The film has not been without its controversies; director Bryan Singer and star Sacha Baron Cohen both left mid-production, having been respectively replaced by Dexter Fletcher and Remi Malek, and its recently released trailer has been accused of whitewashing Mercury’s homosexuality. We caught up with Adam to talk about his forthcoming solo album, Queen, and the movie. ..... There’s going to be new solo material this year. What we expect? And when will we hear the record?“I’m not sure yet. I am well along the way making it and have been taking my time to create something that I love. It’s hard to describe because it’s not genre specific. I have just been writing what I feel like writing. I’m excited about it! I’ve been influence by everything going on around me, and I wanted to make a record exploring all my influences from years gone by to now, so that’s what I have done. I’ll be back in the studio as soon when the [Queen] tour finishes.” You’ve talked about the fact that it’s easy sometimes to get co-opted into musical trends. How have you found your unique place in 2018?“I think I have found it more than ever before. I’m really just listening to myself and what I want to do, and I think that’s working for me. I’m being influenced by what I love from years gone by and from now, rather than the trends. I do feel more confident in doing my own thing more than ever before, so it’s about really following that.” .... Check it out! Haha, Adam comes back at them for some silly questions. They've conflated some things together about the Bohemian movie that have no time basis and they've made other flat out mistakes. Adam comes off good and overall positive. This was an excellent excellent excellent interview IMO. Adam answered some new questions and gave us new insights, even about being on Idol. This is a very interesting look into Adam's thoughts.

Loved that new interview! This album is going to be EPIC! I can just FEEL it!
That said tonight at the movies I saw the trailer to "Bohemian rapsody"...favorite line: "pitty your wive if you think 6 minutes is forever" (I was watching the new movie "about" Pope Fransis...not being churchy at all I really really liked the movie. It showed the Pope at various events and the main thing of the film was the long interview conducted for this film. It is no image cultivation, the Pope simply states his thoughts on the earth and society.)

Good interview for Adam. Do they really expect Adam to put down the BR movie before he has even seen it? It is Brian and Roger's baby so he won't do that even after he has seen it. And what do they expect or want a trailer to show as far as Freddie's sexuality? Him in bed with a man? The bigger and most exposed part of his life, and what brought him to the public eye, was as the frontman for Queen and the success of the band. There was so much more to this man's life as a human story and many of us would be interested in seeing and experiencing ALL of it and not just one area.
As for Idol, Adam did Adam very well. He did not need to be Adore or anyone else. Different people. Different styles. Different personalities. Different levels of maturity, charisma and talent. Simon was no fool. He wanted Adam to win that thing cause it would have changed the look and perception of Idol. And I don't think it was mainly because of his sexuality. He just brought something very different and special to the Idol stage. Same way that it is in the straight world. Some are different and more special than others in their presentation and appeal. KA is straight and plays the guitar but he ain't no Jimmy Hendricks. You are more likely to see Adam humping the stage than ANY of the other males who appeared on Idol, lol. And it is not about his sexuality but his OTT sexiness, confidence and showmanship. Rock Star persona if you will.
