Release dates for Playmobile are all over the place.... I was thinking Adam will release the new album about the same time as the movie for additional promo opportunities, but now I see it’s scheduled for August in the USA and that would be too long to wait imo... www.imdb.com/title/tt4199898/releaseinfo?ref_=ttfc_sa_1Release Dates Argentina 17 January 2019 Portugal 31 January 2019 UK 10 February 2019 Germany 16 February 2019 France 19 February 2019 Spain 21 February 2019 Italy 6 March 2019 South Africa 19 April 2019 Netherlands 24 April 2019 USA 16 August 2019 Russia 22 August 2019 Wow. That’s...weird. The US will only be able to watch it about half a year after the release. I‘m actually glad, I can see it early in Germany. Now, I know, what to do with my niece and nephew in February. 😜😁

OK, I reread the discription of the film and from that it sounds, as if Charlie and his sister will indeed be real people. This would outrule Adam playing Charlie. I actually don’t think, that Adam will be shown as an actor. I think, he did lend his voice to an animated figure. And I‘m absolutely convinced, that he will be fantastic at this! And I actually don’t think, it will be a small role. It‘s exciting! Although not Charlie, I agree that it will not be a small role. I would even go so far as to say that it will be a major song role, like in movie theme song major and eligible for the Academy Awards!

If they have Adam Lambert, they won‘t have another „big“ singer for the theme song. At least I would not want to pay for two great singers, if I was responsible for such a film 😉. Only, if they do a duett, maybe.

Something along the lines of "Let it Go" from Idina Menzel. Since this is the same director who did Frozen.... Please, please let Adam have a super duper song to sing. Menzel: She also voiced Queen Elsa in Walt Disney Animation Studios' hit 2013 3D computer-animated musical film Frozen, in which she sang the Oscar- and Grammy Award-winning song "Let It Go". The song reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making Menzel the first Tony Award-winning actress to reach the top 10.[3] She ultimately won a Grammy award for the film's soundtrack Interesting she voiced most of Elsa....but two others did the younger Elsa character. Looking at the soundtrack page for Frozen it appears Demi Lovato did a single version of Let it Go as well. I've never seen Frozen and didn't know anything about it other than having heard that one song. Frozen's soundtrack features 10 original songs. Fingers crossed that Playmobil's soundtrack is really good and is nominated.

The article says "A portion of the film is in live-action". What does that mean? Does it mean not animated? Something like this, a mix of both live actors and animation m.youtube.com/watch?v=IdxQqrrOnoI

Another great singer gets an acting role. This was preceded by a starring role in a new Broadway musical. I am going to hear Josh in October in Nashville. @netflix: .@tonydanza and @joshgroban are father and son and this is The Good Cop twitter.com/netflix/status/1023697743997353984
