Please give the following feedback in the thread: 1) Which version do you like best & 2nd best? And why?
2) Which format did you listen to, FLAC, M4A, or MP3? 3) Did you listen on a PC or on a Smartphone? 4) Did you listen using speakers, headphones or earbuds? If speakers, was it the speaker on the PC or a better speaker? Wow!!! Can I say again that you do an amazing job recording these shows and editing the sound, I am really grateful to be able to listen to the show again and again and again. So many happy memories. Thank you! 1) Which version do you like best & 2nd best? And why? I LOVE version B. It sounds crisp and Adam sounds like he is really close. It is not as consistent as the other ones in volume though (the most obvious at 0.54, it fades for me and comes back about 10 seconds later). And I would love to hear the band a bit more, If I could have the soundscape of B with the consistency of C and a bit more drums and guitar, then I would be a very happy camper indeed. I am having a hard time deciding between A and C, I think I would go for C, because it sounds more like I remember from being there and the sound is a little bit clearer. 2) Which format did you listen to, FLAC, M4A, or MP3? M4A direct play (am at work, download is not possible, will do that later) 3) Did you listen on a PC or on a Smartphone? PC 4) Did you listen using speakers, headphones or earbuds? If speakers, was it the speaker on the PC or a better speaker? Earbuds (not the best quality, but they're okay)

This week’s concerts: Chris Brown, 3 Doors Down, Erasure and more (published 7/5/18) www.tampabay.com/things-to-do/music/This-week-s-concerts-Chris-Brown-3-Doors-Down-Erasure-and-more_169092214Adam mention..All things considered, it’s a good time to be an LGBTQ pop star. Halsey, Janelle Monae, Frank Ocean, Troye Sivan and others have all achieved significant commercial and critical success. But that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. "I always use Adam Lambert as an example or Sam Smith — you just really see their hopefulness, that kind of wide-eyed naivete going in," said Erasure singer Andy Bell. "I don’t think people realize how tough it’s going to be. Because it’s tough enough anyway if you’re coming into the music business, whether you’re gay or not. Saying you’re gay is kind of an added pressure." Bell, who has been out for more than 30 years, has done quite well with it. He and Vince Clarke built a dedicated following in the late ’80s and early ’90s thanks to synth-pop singles like Always, Chains of Love and A Little Respect.

dancy, thank you and your collaborators for the work you do!
1) Which version do you like best & 2nd best? And why?
C is the best for me, Adam is clear and up front, guitar is clear and more natural (dr may’s sound is preserved) , drums have full sound, vocal harmonies are well heard, overall good resonance and more of the “being at the concert” sound
B is second best (the lack of sound around 0:55ish not withstanding), Adam is clear and up front, guitar and drums have a little less resonance than in C, overall less “concert hall” sound than C
A - all but Adam is too dry
2) Which format did you listen to, FLAC, M4A, or MP3?
M4A
3) Did you listen on a PC or on a Smartphone?
on IPad
4) Did you listen using speakers, headphones or earbuds? If speakers, was it the speaker on the PC or a better speaker?
Headphones( audio-technica ATH-M50)

Audio Game - Today's song: Play The GameAs I mentioned last Fri/Sat, we have 2 HQ recordings for the 2018 London O2 shows. Each recording has different characteristics. We made a mix of the 2 recordings which we hope is better than each of the 2 recordings individually. To evaluate the success of the mix, we would like to play a little game.
Each day I will post links to 3 audio files for the same song, one from each of the 2 recordings and one from the mixed recording. I'm not going to tell you which is which - they will be marked "A", "B", & "C" and it will change daily. I'm also not going to tell you which O2 concert the files are from.
What I want from you all is to give me feed back on what you think of each recording. My feelings will not be hurt by any negative feedback on the audio. We are looking for honest feedback so that we can make the processed recordings better.
I've uploaded the files in 3 formats: M4A, MP3 & FLAC. (FLAC is the best quality!) Choose which one you like. Each link will take you to that 1 song on Mega with a very prominent download button. For the M4A files only, you can also play the song directly on the Mega page!
If you want to guess which recording is mine, Nick's, or the mix, please send that to me in a PM. I'd like to get everyone's reaction to the recordings before saying which recording is which.
M4A - Play and/or Download
MP3 - Download Only FLAC - Download Only
I agree on most points with Nic42: I think A is to sharp in sound for me, B sounds great but the volume fads in the 2 places. C I love and adding more drums and guitar it would perfect. so C then B.
I listened to M4A smart phone with JAM.
Thanks Dancy love your recordings.

#adamlambert was trending in a few places in Canada last night. No idea why, but foxvegas was tweeting a lot of fan arts while using that #. So could be the # wasn't used for quite a while in Canada and it was maybe a slow night. milkywayfairy @milkywayfairy 😃

Dancy...I played the M4A version as I really don't want to download 3 versions of each song...bad fan...I played them on my Mac Mini desktop with a small Klipsich computer speaker system. The vocals, I felt, were best on B...by quite a bit for me. The fading is a pain, but I only noticed it once. The harmonies are really available here more than the other 2 examples. Whatever it is...I like it... Hard to choose between A and C but I definitely give the nod to C...it seems a wee bit fuller...clearer....I could go back and relisten to those two without B in the middle and see if that is still how I hear it...but this is first impressions. I have sung choir and Sweet Adelines so I get a special thrill from the harmonizing sections..and that is where B shines...

1. I like version B the best. There is a problem with the loss of sound at ~50 seconds and again during Brian's later solo but overall I find this version to be more balanced between the various members of the band and the music seems closer without the hollow sound of the arena. Both A and C sound more like an arena recording and you can hear more of the audience. For 2nd best, I am going with C and not just because Adam is more front and center but because you can really hear all the nuances in his voice. 2. FLAC 3. PC 4. Audio Technica headphones (got them on sale at Amazon a while back when you recommended them. Thanks! )
