[angsty post warning]
Not gonna lie, I was hoping for a single before the Vegas shows. Seeing that Adam is still in the studio lowered these expectations, and Adam plugging the Vegas shows pretty much killed them for me. Besides, it's getting a bit too late. I guess I shouldn't expect any solo stuff till afterwards. The truth is, not knowing what's going on is making me a bit nervous. No one's saying anything about plans for Adam's music any more. There was a burst of promo in the UK for a little while, seemed like things were gearing up toward something, but now it's all gone quiet. Even Shosh is plugging the Queen shows. I wonder what's happening behind the scenes, if the plans have changed. I wish they'd re affirm that Adam's music is coming this year... I never really thought we'd get a single before Vegas....but I'm still hoping for something prior to the end of the year. He stated "new music before the end of the year". I'm a little concerned about that panning out. We really don't know much. All we can see is him still in some type of recording studios working with various folks. We don't know anything about his new label, do we? ....who or how songs will be released? That whole Phillymack thing kinda concerns me as well. After Sept 22.....he has nothing scheduled...so I would fully expect him to finish up the new music. Will be interesting to see if his new music is talked about during any press connected to the Vegas shows. I guess we'll just have to "trust a bitch".

Because of his label change from Warner to whatever it probably is now, he probably has a 1-year period that might have begun as late as this past spring during which he can’t release anything or even make any definitive announcements. Same thing happened when he left RCA. It sucks, but it is what it is and there’s no sense fretting about it (but yeah I want new music too!).

Didn’t Adam’s plans change some time ago? In these last interviews he had mentioned somewhere, that he hopes to finish recording his album before Vegas. Ruling out a single until then. In an earlier interview (May?) he had been asked, what he thought, he would be going to do at this time next year. And he answered, that he hoped, he would be promoting his new music (single/album I don’t remember). THAT was a bummer to me, because it implied, that we might not even get the first single this year. All the promo in Britain had his sexuality or Queen in the forefront and his own music more as a second thought. My guess is, that it‘s aim was to establish him as a name, as a celebrity, as a gay icon, so that people won’t forget about him until the new music is ready. By the way: Do we know about a new label by now? I must've missed where he said he hopes to finish recording the album before Vegas. Then I guess the production will take place during Vegas, and hopefully at least the first single will be ready right afterwards. I agree with you that the UK promo was about establishing him as a name and celebrity, it's just that it's usually done when there's some follow up, otherwise people just forget, don't they?

But the label change happened before his statements about new solo music before the end of the year, didn't it? If there's no new music coming before next spring, I expect he'd say something, he wouldn't leave his fans hanging for that long.

I can see both ponts when people say the look has something sleazy and also hot af... I'm just laughing out loud, because Adam actually posted the video on his Instagram 😂 I think he looks hot as hell! I've always said I'll take him how ever I can get him!

But the 1-year period would apply if you leave a major on your own and go to another major before your contract ends? I hope that is the case. If you are just out there on your own, it would not apply and I guess you could throw something out whenever you wanted. I want new work but I don't want it fast if it means he doesn't have a music home and support. I have faith that he does have a music home.

Dancy....
Under Pressure.
FLAC on PC with good headphones
I understand that most will pick C because of the isolated vocals. This time I DLd both in FLAC and then listened in M4a. C sounds better in M4a than in FLAC where I found it "weak" or missing some richness. Both his and Roger's vocals were clear. Perhaps if I had chosen M4a for the previous isolated vocal versions I would have liked them better. But in FLAC, I found it lacking richness.
I think my favorite was B. Again....an arena feel, but with balanced background to the vocals. The "Why" here in FLAC gave me chills where it didn't on the other two versions. The background in "Why" was chasing Adam's vocals and pushing him to the top where he won the race. Again......I'm afraid bigger, fuller, richer won out for me once again.
I found the background in A to be a little "harsh"...so B was better to me.
#1 B FLAC #2 C in M4a #3 A FLAC
