Just an update on the movie for those interested. The Rotten Tomatoes score is still 52%. So still mixed reviews from critics. www.rottentomatoes.com/m/bohemian_rhapsody?cmp=TWRT_Movie_BohemianRhapsody_1023The audience reviews on this site won't show until after November 2nd by the way. Over 2,000 users have already submitted their review. The IMDB score however is at 8.6 after 1,670 reviews. This is higher than A Star as Born currently has, but of course this is almost only from the UK and still a quite low amount of reviews. Most likely from people who were excited about the movie beforehand already as they had tickets for the very first shows. It needs 25,000 reviews to be included in IMDB's top movie list so I guess they think that's about the amount you need to get a good balanced score. Almost only positive reviews by users on this site. I'm only seeing 1 bad one. www.imdb.com/title/tt1727824/?ref_=tt_urvPeople on Twitter are still very positive after seeing the movie. The soundtrack didn't show much movement on Spotify yesterday so I didn't post that one.

I'm starting to feel a little worried that Adam's new music is on "indefinite" as far as a release date. I know there are more important things in the world to be concerned about-but this is my place of escapism and it just feels a little disheartening. Maybe we'll know more as time goes on... Meantime, Adam has many things on his plate right now, and I'm so looking forward to seeing him on my television screen next Monday night. I'll just have to find a way to tear away from relatives visiting with us from the east coast to watch it! I think BR will be a hit for the public, even though some critics seemed to want a more in-depth account of Freddie's private life. When I see it, I'll be looking forward to the music, which I've come to love because of Adam, and of course the brief glance of Dusty! {Oh, but it will hurt to see our beautiful man appear in that ghastly disguise in his first chance at the big screen!!!!!! lol} I think I'm in the minority when I say what a waste of time it was to see A Star is Born---didn't like it at all. The romance wasn't developed with any authenticity ---"How could a woman in her 30's ever think she had a shot at any real relationship with a falling down drunk from the moment they met ?" I kept asking myself throughout the film. My daughter, who saw the movie a week after I did, had the same reaction, even though I had never discussed it with her beforehand. Yes, even though Cooper {Jackson} had those hauntingly beautiful blue eyes and Gaga{Ally} sang a heartfelt song at the end. Wasn't touched by the story at all. Lorraine, I just have to respond to your comment about A Star Is Born. I am really the minority in my group of friends. I have NOT seen the film yet, but I will soon. Somehow I am not on pins and needles in anticipation like my friends are. I like Gaga and Bradley Cooper well enough. And I did see one of the previous versions of the movie and thought it was just fine. So I will go with my friends and I may be pleasantly surprised. The comments you made about it kind of go along with how I feel about a plot like that. I will let you know!
