I cannot believe that my one and only little movie theatre on my little isolated island is bringing back Bohemian Rhapsody for a 3rd run....unheard of!!! Each run is just a few days or a week at most, but this does not happen....must be good crowds or he would not do that!!

Thanks !!! Very interesting article. What they talk about contradicts what Brian May said about all the vocals being Freddie's. Or I am misunderstanding Brian May's Instagram message. In the article, one fellow said there were three songs they did not have vocal recordings of Freddie so a sound alike was used. Also MMartel had vocals recorded, as did Rami. The inference was to have these as back up for editing. Whatever they used as vocals in the end, in particular the 3 songs they mentioned...well it's anybody's guess now as to whether we take Brian May's version or the sound guys version of all Freddie on vocals or MMartel on some songs. I am paraphrasing something Brian May said in an interview (not the Instagram) ---he said they eventually found recordings for songs they thought there were no recordings of. So consider me now confused on this point. But, what the heck, maybe the interviewer did not get in depth answers as questions were asked of the sound editing team. And in the end only Freddie's were used. đ Quote from the article: So, we were combining Rami and Freddie in that sense, and then we found a voice double of Freddie because there are scenes in the movieâfor example, when he was writing âLove Of My Lifeâ at the pianoâwhere we donât have that recording of Freddie Mercury. We donât have a recording of Freddie singing âHappy Birthdayâ at his parentsâ house, or singing âDoing All Rightâ in the car park, so that was where we had to dip into voice double. Now, the way we created that was on set. Rami just sang that in his own voice; then, in post-production, we would get the voice double to match exactly the songs that Rami had done. We knew we wanted to stay true to Ramiâs performance of Freddie, but we needed the voice to sound like the voice that you hear in the concerts, as well. So, we tried to make sure that it was seamless between the dialogue and all the elements of the scenes throughout the film."

I think Brian meant that all Queen performances in the movie used Freddie's voice because they had source material. The three songs mentioned in the article were not Queen performances, they were Freddie auditioning in the parking lot, Freddie singing Happy Birthday, and Freddie composing LOML. So no recordings existed for those moments, and the article says as much, as you quoted.

Each run is just a few days or a week at most, but this does not happen....must be good crowds or he would not do that!! That is great. It never left my theater. It still plays about 4 times a day. BR had dropped from 7 times a day to 2 but it is back up to 4. But my city is odd. It is huge but most of it is rural and sparsely populated. Nothing going on in that part of the world as far as great restaurants or nice theaters. If feels like another city all together. But the Northern, and smaller part of the city, is very modern and we are blessed with everything that the large surrounding cites and suburbs have. But our large multi-complex theater is never even a third full on the best of opening days. But they must be making money cause they keep up with the more heavily populated surrounding cities. If they get it, so do we, lol. I like that cause the other places just have too many people and the parking is a bi**h.

I was not thinking through the concept that --the 3 parts specifically needed by MMartel were for scripted parts...not actual songs. Thx ...can go to sleep in peace. haha.

Looks like a new troll on Javi's last IG pic. No posts no followers. Seems when one disappears, another one appears. I hope he deletes and blocks this one too. May be the same poster as before...who knows. What would cause somebody to want to publicly put Adam down in order to cause problems in another possible relationship he might have. I just don't get it. randypandypants Yep 'school ' JUST behind you đđgood luck with 'big daddy' in the IG story video, you'll need it, he's still follwing and liking all his other toy boys , you seem to deserve so much better đđł Javi deleted it. He usually doesnât delete these comments immediately, but waits until the next day or at least a few hours. Smart. Without the immediate reaction, itâs less fun for the troll. Javi works in an office and interacts with customers online. I guess, he knows how to deal with online bullies. Probably better than us.
