Broken and Can't Go Home are also from 2016. Two Fux was the only song in 2017 and in 2018 we indeed got nothing.... Hopefully an announcement will be ready soon! We need something to “happen” pretty soon... the wait is becoming unbearable.... the worst thing for me is that I don’t think I believe any “promises” any more... one too many times in the last two years we heard the”soon”, “polishing”,”final touches” and what not... for me it has become the case of “I believe it when I see it”... (I realize there are business reasons etc...doesn’t help the frustration though) I get it. I like to be patient and understanding of the fact that creativity can't be rushed, especially as Adam has another major side by side project going on, but "soon" and "final touches" doesn't make me jump up and down either. If we get something in April or May along with decent promotion I will be more than thrilled, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for Adam to introduce a new single on Idol. It has really been a while considering that Two Fux in 2017 was the last single. On a positive note, there will definitely be more Adam this year, and I am really looking forward to QAL this summer!!

I think Adam was ready a while back, but all kinds of business stuff ,which we will probably never know about, happened. I can't imagine how frustrated he is ,especially knowing how frustrated his fans are.. He has said in the past that one has to ,to paraphrase" strike while the iron is hot" kind of thing.. I'm sure he knows he has lost some fans because of the delays.. It must hurt to know that he can't do anything about that ..IMHO ,I still think it all started with the top guy from RCA going to Warners. I'm thinking he didn't approve of what Adam wanted to do with album 4. Just my feeling based on what happened at RCA causing Adam to leave. We still don't know if he signed with a record label.Thank goodness for Youtube,I listen to Adam every day.Just my feelings, got no information To add, just bought As Long as You're mine on ITunes.. So beautiful , made me cry. It's all about Adam's gorgeous voice.

Another movie that did horrible at the box office was The Greatest Showman. It even had a worse Rotten Tomatoes critic rating than BoRhap , 56% but audience was 84%. I planned not to watch The Greatest Showman based on the critics ratings, but now that I've seen BoRhap 5 times, I will see The Greatest Showman whenever it becomes rentable. I also starting checking out songs from The Greatest Showman, and found a cover of Never Enough that blew me away. From BoRhap, I've learned that even if a movie is not movie making excellence, you can still enjoy it a lot.And the praise comes from the people who liked it and got something from it that was meaningful to them. If it did not do much or mean much to others that is fine. If it did not tell the story they wanted told or the way they wanted it told that is fine too. But they can't really force others to share their opinions of the movie. I think that is part of the problem with the critics is they came out early and strong against the movie but fans saw other things that they liked or loved about the movie. And the critics have been working overtime to validate their opinions while the public is buying tickets, lol. So the music, word of mouth, Rami's performance and the love of Queen likely all played a part in the success of the movie. I really don't get the annoyance because some enjoyed it more than some others did. I really want Rami to bring home that Oscar. And I will be fine if they pick up a few other awards along the way. IMO, BoRhap is such a successful movie because people love the story of Freddie and Queen and they CARE about the story. And they are not picky about how the story has been told in the film. Is BoRhap "great cinema?" NO. Not in my opinion. I go to LOTS of movies each year, almost once a week. Many of the films I see that are my favorites are not great cinema by any stretch. BoRhap is a love story for fans. Period. Freddie is cool to like. Both men and women love and respect his life and legacy. His story is not just the tale of some bland, pretty-boy singer. It's about a talented, complicated young man who found a way to cope with life's hurdles and still find fame and fortune. And he paid a price. On top of all that is one of the best rock music catalogs in history. And that's obviously quite enough for the millions of viewers who love BR. Film critics like ASIB better. It's more of a "film" than a "movie." BR is pretty heavy-handed in comparison. I agree with what Neil meant in his tweet. BR takes the basic, simple route and tugs at your heart till it breaks. Ironically, ASIB is supposed to do the same thing, but it just didn't do it for me. I didn't feel the chemistry between Gaga and Cooper. Just didn't. Maybe I'm in the minority, but that movie left me cold. I also saw The Greatest Showman, and I agree with those here who say that the movie might not be a "great film" but it sure is entertaining. Sometimes movies that are a little klutzy and obvious turn out to be hits because they don't try to be artistic masterpieces. They just deliver a story that viewers take to their hearts.

It is probably something that a lot of artists have to deal with. I think that us as well Adam are lucky to have him firmly cemented in the well oiled Queen machine However, I feel for those Adam fans who are (typo) aren't into his collaboration with Queen. They must sit on pins and needles waiting for new music. We'll get there

As for Adam's new music, I have learned to accept the fact that with QAL as his pot of gold, he can afford to be less urgent about it. Plain and simple. Of course he cares a great deal about Era 4. If he had to rely solely on his own music, there would be a whole different dynamic to all this. He can afford to take his time, without financial pressure. Lucky guy! His post-QAL eras will take on a whole different vibe.t think he will survive and thrive in ways we cannot even predict. I'm looking forward to new music and a solo tour as muchas the rest of you. I have a great Adam-buddy who I go to the solo shows with. We're excited! It'll come.

Sometimes movies that are a little klutzy and obvious turn out to be hits because they don't try to be artistic masterpieces. They just deliver a story that viewers take to their hearts. I am not sure Neil meant that as a critisism of BR. IT is pretty simplistic in its plot. But that is probably where the success lies. The magic in its simplicity. IS it technically the best film out their right now? Nope. But its a very strong Biopic. With a ton of dramatic and powerful moments, driven home by an incredible cast. Looking back at past Oscar winners. Strikes me how not always the best film won the Oscar. IT is usually the appeal of a film that can sometimes give you an Oscar. Spotlight in 2015 I don't think was a better film then The Revenent. But its exposure of Cathloic Churches drove it home. BR has a few flaws, but it really represented Aids in an outstanding way. And the appeal of Freddie and Queen cannot be underestimated at all. Critics loved ASIB more obviousley. ITs more a film then a movie. So its more artsty in a way. But it lacks emotional punch for me. BR had tons of depth. Your already invested in the band and Freddie. So I Felt a deeper connection. ASIB also ends in a very cynical way. Where as I Thought Live Aid was the best ending I Saw to a film all year. It leaves you feeling uplifting and optimistic. Opposed to ASIB cynical ending. I always looked it as a Dramatisation of events, not a documentary. ITs funny I Watched it right after ASIB. And I Walked out not enjoying a film at the cinema this much since Lord of the Rings. IT felt like an event. And I Think thats whats driving it.

The Greatest Showman is one of my favorite movies of all time, even though, like Bohemian Rhapsody, I found it lacking in many areas. It was obviously not meant to be historically accurate, but for me it was emotionally fulfilling, and the music is stellar. Critics hated it, but it became a huge success, making $174,340,174 in the US, and $260,653,009 everywhere else ($434,993,183 total). Bohemian Rhapsody falls into the place in my heart where The Greatest Showman dwells.
