Guess the fandom is not into streaming on Spotify... Out of his 2.5 million followers on Twitter less than 1.5% hit the streaming button. And I've been streaming it quite a lot personally actually as I added it to my streaming playlist. #NowPlaying #AsLongAsYoureMine - Live by @adamlambert & @ledisi Now 37,215 streams on @spotify (+12,218)! 🎧 (11 February 2019) Yes, I'm guilty of not streaming because I don't stream anybody's music. I just don't like to do it....but I will when a new single drops, especially if we don't get a physical CD. I'll need to learn how to work it so it repeats the correct number of times each day to be counted and I need to see how to have it play w/o me hearing it in the background on repeat. In other words, I'll need guidance and tips....lol.

On our flight today from Lima, Perú, to Miami, BoRhap was the movie. I didn’t watch because I hate watching movies on planes and want to see it on my HDTV, but I did look up just in time to see Adam’s cameo!

On another topic, the other day I was looking at Netflix and Prime to see if something interested me and noticed an old (early 2000's) tv show that I remembered from back then. I was curious about what the main actors had been doing since, so looked them up.
One actor had been a regular on several different shows over the years, 3 years here, 6 there, 2 years on another, and a few more shows, some current, plus some movie roles, directing, producing. I noticed that he had an estimated net worth of $10 million.
I know the celebrity net worth type websites, and even the Forbes list, are notorious for being wrong in their estimates. However, I thought that perhaps they might give some idea of relative amounts, such as person A being worth half of what person B is worth even if the amounts were not accurate.
With that in mind I thought, hmm, an actor with decades of success, although not breaking through to the very top ranks, is estimated at having half the net worth that Adam is listed as having.
This led me to looking up more actors and musicians who have a good level of success and recognition, but haven't made it to the very highest levels of financial success. I was amazed that Adam's estimated net worth is more than many, many people who have been around longer and have more secure places within the genre in which they act or sing.
My conclusion was that Queen must pay really well ! We knew that, but the comparisons really highlighted that for me. Also it made me think that tv, although offering more exposure, may not pay as well as touring with Queen.
Just some random musings-

sometimes actors, especially actresses, get paid minimum wage. I remember reading this last year... "Mark Wahlberg was paid $1.5 million for reshooting his scenes in All the Money in the World, three people familiar with the situation but not authorized to speak publicly about it tell USA TODAY, while Michelle Williams was paid an $80 per diem totaling less than $1,000. www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2018/01/09/exclusive-wahlberg-paid-1-5-m-all-money-reshoot-williams-got-less-than-1-000/1018351001/

The last time I tried to play something, I couldn't get it to work. I didn't do anything differently from the previous times I did it, but it just wouldn't work. So we all need to share our streaming strategies for Adam's new music. And, as you said, we might not get a physical CD.

They aren't the top-most superstars, but they make well into the lower millions. There is something to be said for having a sustained, steady career that lasts for a long time, rather than a shorter, super high-peak career that ends with nothing much that follows. I do believe that Adam will get more opportunities as time goes on, in music and otherwise. And I'm pretty sure he has a good financial advisor who tells him how to handle his investments so that he doesn't have to worry about money for the long haul. I realize that there have been some show-biz millionaires who wound up dead broke, but I don't believe Adam will ever be one of those.

I'm having trouble understanding some of her words when she hits the high/intense parts. Off to look for the lyrics.
