Lol....I see me and friends.... And just when I was thinking I may have had enough QAL, I suddenly want it all again. Always happens Wonder what the impact of the film might be on the live QALs...new audience, new expectations, new appreciation of the history? I think Brian, Roger and Adam will be fully aware of the different mix of people in the audiences this time around. Hopefully, there will be a lot of newbies to QAL who will become QAL fans and ADAM fans. I'm sure the shows this time will be out of this world.

The vocals in this performance are simply beyond belief. So pure and rich and smooth. Outlaws of Love is a true anthem. I wish he had a chance to sing it more.

Really having to search for any Adam on Twitter...lol This might make for a good Atop page header for Sunday. Just chuckling a bit to myself. I've been seeing these photos of Adam either just before or just after singing BSS. Certainly not "during." I assume he'll be moving around a bit while he's singing the song. Looking forward to it!

Gotta say I agree with Russell. Those three categories represent those "behind the scenes" people who work their magic and make the movies really come live. The cinematographers are truly magicians. I realize that the TV peeps want to speed up the Oscars show, but come on. BTW, today I am going to see the five Oscar- nominated Short Films at my local theater. They show them every year. Each film is about 15-20 minutes long. Last year all the nominees were outstanding and I expect the same this time. Each film is little gem. If your area theater shows them, please go! Those short films are labors of love for those who wrote, produced and filmed them. And most people never see ANY of them. Please let us know how you liked the Short Films. I always overlook them somehow, but I am interested.

Unlike last year, where there were a few humorous entries, this year's films are all pretty serious. Each one was interesting in its own way. They were from Canada (2), Ireland, Spain and the US. With the exception of one, they ll deal with children in some way. Last one in the group, "Skin," is the US entry and really has a impact. Titles are Skin, Madre, Marguerite, Detainment, and Fauve. I know these types of movies are not for everyone, but I always find them intriguing. BTW, Detainment is a dramatization of a true crime in Ireland in 1993.

I was thrilled to just see this on twitter... "Love Kills" performed by Adam is one of those very special gems for me. I wish it would make a comeback. As it's Valentine's Day tomorrow, I hope that Adam feels the love.
