Personally, I think we need to ignore Marc Martell fans. They are loud and obnoxious, but I don't think it's a huge number. I have never heard any one who counts say that Marc should replace Adam. In fact I bet the the majority of people have never heard of MM. Obnoxious comments don't really endear anyone. MM fans are just making this worse for themselves and it has no effect on Adam. Absolutely. Fans need to thicken up their skin, Martel fans are of no significance to Adam or QAL's success. And with the new coverage QAL will have with the documentary, more haters gonna hate. Meh, who cares. Tour is sold out.

Someone has probably already weighed in on this, but I think it’s more of this thing of the guys saying they’re gagging over something meaning it’s really great. I haven’t looked on Urban Dictionary... From my "educational" experience watching RuPaul, expressions like "gag worthy" or "you are making me gag" are solid compliments!! "Just a gag" is new to me. Just a gag is like a joke, giving someone a gag gift. And yes in the old days "gag me" was like making me throw up. But everything down is up these days.

Speaking of things people say in the comments section, I just noticed on the Feel Something youtube that someone said "Who else ships Adam and Tommy?" LOL
I don't know if it is intended to be humorous and ironic, or if it is the person's true sentiment. Either way, aren't we way past trying to pair up Adam and Tommy? It made me laugh out loud. I'm only mentioning it here because I hope others get a laugh out of it, too.

twitter.com/billboard/status/1100223955036712962Oscar show-openers Queen, with Adam Lambert, saw a robust boost in sales as well, following the band’s performance of “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions.” Sales of Queen’s catalog of songs grew by 29 percent on Sunday (rising to 27,000; up from 21,000). Further, the two tracks the band performed jumped 49 percent in sales, as “Rock” and “Champions” sold a combined 4,000 on Sunday (up from 3,000 a day earlier).

Me too! This is what we were expecting 10 years ago when we were all sure that the world was going to instantly embrace Adam. I was a mess of nerves yesterday— trying to put an empty cracker box in the dishwasher and reaching for the ketchup bottle when I was trying to pour myself a drink! This was a long time coming. Very good !

My guess is "no". I assume that they will treat Adam's journey with Queen as a separate side by side project. But yeah I felt a bit funny yesterday when I contributed to ABC's social media hype regarding the Oscars, all in support of Adam of course. After all, I wrote a disapproving letter to them a little less than 10 years ago. The documentary will be under Queen control, so I doubt it will have much that would make Adam uncomfortable. Ha ha about the letter! I wrote one too to ABC. Not an email either. A hand written honest to goodness one! I think mine was written online. I spent all night on it.

But I was so scared they were going to take everything from him and just destroy him. And really do think that was the plan. But fans and even the media came to his defense is such a strong way that it turned things around. Even Glaad, who was slow to defend, came out for him after they saw everyone fighting for him. I remember watching a show called the Soup I think? And that guy was normally brutal. When he brought up Adam, I braced myself for the worst. But after he told or showed what Adam had done, he said, "I like that guy" I almost cried, lol.

My one and only comment about the embittered fans of MM: Since there is no logical reason for the horrible, venomous attacks on Adam, it could possibly have grown out of an anti-liberal bias. Marc is a Canadian Christian rock musician who could appeal to more conservative fans. Adam is a gay, Jewish liberal man who can be flamboyant and outspoken. There is no logic involved since Freddie was gay and similar to Adam in his performance style. But logic plays no part in stirring up irrational emotions. yep, I think this theory has some merit, just look up his Killer Queen renditions and it's safe for church. And the comments from 6 years ago are "I never saw Freddie in so many clothes" and "he's more faithful to the actual record sound than Freddie ever was". If you want it to sound like the record and you never saw Freddie in all his glory, and you don't care for self deprecation, smirks, smiles, flirtations, and everything else visually then with Marc you are in for a treat.
