Oh I loved the Ghost Town video! For me it embodies exactly what this song is about. A lot of loneliness (did you notice almost everyone is dancing alone?) but set on this catchy beat that makes you move. And it ends well, at least, it ends with everybody dancing together. Although Adam is still mostly on his own... Apart from the group, even in the scenes where the others are together. Also, the individual images are beautiful. I have watched it frame by frame, and there are so many amazing shots in there. You could print them and hang them on the wall of any art gallery. My only criticism would be: not enough Adam :-). I LOVE that you love the video. I love your artistic viewpoint. And, more selfishly, I am always comforted when others like Adam things that I don’t... ...but I think your specific point about watching frame by frame and freezing images illustrates my problem in that I don’t know how to do this and actually don’t want to work that hard to enjoy a music video. I am, I imagine, like 99% of the viewers who sort of just take it at face value...(I actually have no real evidence for saying that, of course) The idea surely is to make something that appeals to the masses since ‘numbers’ is the commercial game and vitally important to Adam’s solo career. I can (and do) watch ballet for hours on end. I love the tiniest movement. But I got only brief impressions of movement here and eventually had to shut it out because of the flashing and the frustration of not seeing enough of anything... ... especially Adam!! We can agree on that.

We can agree on that. I love your open mind SophieB ❤️. I do like the video as it is as well. And I loved it even more when I discovered all of the little gems hidden in it. I also think it was intentended artistically ánd as appealing to the masses as well. Maybe I am a little bit different from many others in that I mainly want Adam to express himself freely. His artistic mind is what drew me to him in the first place. His courage, owning his being different. I really hope he’ll have commercial success with that as well, but a lot of really great artists aren’t for everyone. I think Adam is one of them. And I really don’t want him to dilute his art to be acceptable to the masses. I’d rather have him not successful but making great music and being his crazy self. It would be best if he (and we) could have both though. We’ll see! I can’t wait for what he is going to do next, but I hope we’re going to get a lot of very non vanilla music videos as well 😄 Also... I love ballet too 😄

It is very comforting for me too that even within our fandom our tastes differ in terms of what we like or what inspires us. I think we can all agree though that we like to see Adam prominently featured in his music videos. I certainly do
