But why is that sad that the fandom liked and streamed ALN more? We like what we like, and trying to predict a "hit" song is like a crap shoot. Some of the songs played on the radio are only played, I'm sure, because they're by a specific singer, not because they're so wonderful and so popular. It's all a game. ALN was a crappy 2nd single. That's why. It went nowhere except in the US. I personally believe TOH would have done a lot better. It was also doing better in streaming after the first initial fan boost. Which meant it was catching on to the casual fan as well. ALN killed the chance of another single.

When Shosh says, "Not sure YET," she raises the hope that an SNL appearance could actually be in the works. Which would be FANTASTIC! I hope she doesn't give us false hope. SNL is long overdue in having Adam on the show in some capacity. They approached him right after Idol. We've waited a long time. Hope this doesn't turn out to be an empty rumor. BTW, I think most of her would agree that he would make a great SNL HOST, also. Not just a musical guest. But, one thing at a time. Being a musical guest is a big deal and would be great for Adam. I have really been hoping he would get a SNL performance opportunity. It has helped so many others. Yes, being a musical guest on SNL is a huge gig to get. I guess I didn't really mean "JUST a musical guest" in a way that meant it wasn't important. It is, and I hope he does get a chance to do it. But hosting would be a huge coup, also. I think he would be great at it! He's so funny and risky. Quick and smart but also willing to do the really dumb-ass stuff that SNL requires. Like it said, I hope Shosh's "don't know yet" kind of answer doesn't mean that it hasn't really been discussed. I hope it HAS been discussed as in really in the works at some point. Like maybe this year. Please!

OK, let's hope this can post
If not, I hope you can at least click on the link. It is from Alisan Porter's IG. I don't follow her, but I was curious to see what that AL finger was all about. It's actually about Alisan -she is (I think) going to be releasing music very soon IN SPITE of some executives who didn't want to let her. The finger is for the music execs. I don't know if Adam recorded a song with her for her album, or was just there listening to her record her song for the album - but I don't think it's for Adam's album.
This was written below Alisan's post: When the major label exec doesn’t believe you can be a mother and an artist..... I’m a woman bud, you shouldn’t have doubted my ability to multitask. t-13 days. #diditanyway 🧚🏼♀️
*(Maybe the song or album is Did It Anyway . And I think the t-13 days means it might be released in 13 days. Not sure. )
That makes sense. But she said this before, after her Voice win, that the major label did not support her because she was a mom. Actually they have hardly supported any of their winners so it would have been surprising if they had supported her. And she has released music as an indie artist since that time but it did not do much of anything. I wonder what has changed. Maybe she is with some other label now or has found more support. Label executives run a business, and may be they thought she is not marketable enough. I understand Alisan's frustration, especially after a decent level of success at The Voice, but obscene gestures from my point of view are not a smart step in the right direction. I had a feeling that Adam tried to support her with his own IG post about their time in the studio. Ugghh.

It's a good thing I'm not in charge of picking singles lol...liked ALN much, much better than TOH. I also thought GT was a booooring song. I did, however, like the TOH demo much better than the version that ended up on the album. Favorite song on the album? There I Said It....by several miles. Probably why I haven't listened to the radio in more than a decade. Right there with you svca

Wow. This is definitely another one of those golden moments from the past. I really like that lane for Adam, in fact every time that he focuses on the "feelz" my heart eyes pop out. What a sexy performance, lighting included. Fingers crossed that Adam knows by now what makes him so incredibly appealing. I like that "bell hop outfit" on him btw. (quote Eber)

In The True Hollywood Story and/or Behind the Music some managed to say some dismissive things about others they perceived as his competition. And it blows back on Adam by fans of those people. I also remember when Adam and Kesha became new friends, a few of his old friends would tweet making fun of her talent. There was no regard that Adam viewed Kesha as a friend. I know there is a lot of anger at others, who have made it with what seems like less talent, but Adam does not seem to dwell on that and takes the high road. I think it has served him well.

Wow, I didn't realize that Javi had such blue eyes! I wonder if he dyes his hair like Adam.

I can just here my late mother saying "Don't be vulgar." But that's just me. Adam can, obviously, do what he wants!! I guess some context would have helped though. I assumed he wasn't flipping the bird at his fans!

"Crappy" is as subjective as "awesome" and "wonderful". Again, picking a single that may or may not be successful on radio is a crap shoot, it's a game. There is absolutely NO guarantee that TOH would have flown to the top of the charts as a 2nd single...absolutely none IMO.

Wow, I didn't realize that Javi had such blue eyes! I wonder if he dyes his hair like Adam. I don’t think, Javi dyes his hair. He has pictures on is Instagram profile from 5-6 years or so back and always had the same hair color. But as a little kid he was blond. He must be one of these people, who start their life as blondes and change during childhood to the dark hair color.
