@cocooyau: @pattihum Add to your once a day post 🔥😅 pants in action Thanks so much for posting this pic again! The steam just bursts out of my laptop! And the video is just frosting on the cake. A sexier man is not to be found. And yes, selling Adam's CDs at the Queen shows would sure help get his music into new hands. Wonder if there are some rules about that.

Haha! Different strokes for different folks. I love Get Down Make Love. Adam really makes it sexy, IMO, esp. when he gets down on the floor. He really steams it up. Oh well. To each his own.

Don’t get me wrong: I did like GDML. But I remember sitting in the midst of the audience in Munich and seeing some puzzled faces around me. The silence after the song was pretty deafening, just a few people were clapping (compared to all the other songs). I actually believe, it doesn’t matter to most people in the audiences, if QAL played Adam songs or Queen’s deep cuts. Let’s face it: The absolute majority only knows Queen’s Greatest Hits. But they have 14 albums with round about 150 songs. How many of them do you know? QAL has performed about 40 different Queen songs (I just checked that). I bet with you, that they could play at least 60 other Queen songs and most people in the audience would have no idea, if that‘s a Queen or an Adam song. Because Queen never had one sound. And the audience would sit there wondering and pretty silent. That’s why Brian and Roger keep to the hits. They have done so since the early 80s (yes, even with Freddie they were a Greatest Hits band. The Setlist in the mid 80s looked almost the same as today). So it’s no wonder, that even many fans only know the hits. Just check out Queen’s „Ride the Wild Wind“ from the album Innuendo. That could also be an Adam song, if QAL played it... youtu.be/JlRyk4CXXCITo sum it up: Silent audiences aren‘t Adam’s fault (or his song’s). Some hardcore Queen fans did actually really enjoy a new song 😁. The energy of an audience is always the highest, when all the people know a song and can sing along.

I think, that Adam won over many Queen fans. Most know about Adam‘s solo career and at least check his music out. The others are simply not interested. If someone, who attended a QAL concert, doesn‘t check Adam out, this someone is not interested. Adam carries 80% of these shows. There is no way around him. But as much as we love him: Not every person is attracted by Adam. Not by his personality or/and not by his voice. You can‘t force that. To be honest: 90% of the Glamberts , that I got to know during the last 4 years here in Europe, became Fans through Queen. If Adam‘s New solo music is attractive to other Queen fans, they will buy it. There are some discussions about it from time to time on QueenOnline. You will be surprised, but most of the regulars there do know Adam‘s solo music. Some buy the albums. The consence over all is, that they simply are not into Pop and EDM. It’s that simple. I so agree with you. A lot of people are just looking for more substance than Pop and EDM. That is what his longtime fans have been saying. Adam has so much more on all his albums but that is not the impression that is out there. Some think that dance/pop is all that he has. That is the narrative that has been pushed for some reason. His best work, and there is a lot of it, is always hidden. I really hope that won't happen again but I'm not so sure. There are a lot of potential fans out there who stopped going to the clubs once they married or hit 30. It doesn't mean we don't like a dance tune now and then but many want more substance. Adele, Ledgend and Sam have tapped into that audience big. Don't ever want Adam to be Adele/Sam/Ledgend. I think he is better conveying emotion than either but in a more interesting and exciting way. "Believe" "Girl Crush" "Feel Something" "There I Said It" (when he performed it live) had jaws dropping. Then when you add in rock and funk and the blues, he does it all and better than most. But who the hell even knows that (besides his fans) when it come to his solo career? Why leave it on the stage with Queen? Every time I see an article that calls Adam a dance/pop artist I think of Selena, Demi, Gaga, Bieber, Troye, Derulo etc. and a stage of dancers. How did he get trapped in that model? He not only sounds different but he even looks different. He looks like a tall and sexy rock star. A man and not a boy. What an absolute babe he was on the Oscar stage, lol. Why haven't they taken advantage of that? Even Gaga has managed to break out of that and get nominations where she is not competing with Taylor, Ariana and Camilla all the time. I really hope they will try to reach a broader audience with Adam's new music and it is not more of the same. He deserves better.

twitter.com/entfocusmusic/status/1107311820853907456EF Music @entfocusmusic Results: your favourite recent @adamlambert performance is… bit.ly/2W7Qcpk #AdamLambert We asked you to vote for your favourite recent Adam Lambert performance and you voted in your hundreds. Lambert has been constantly hitting the headlines in recent months for his show-stopping performances. First came his tribute to Cher at the Kennedy Center Honors, where he made the icon herself cry during a rendition of Believe. Then Lambert joined forces with Queen to open the Oscars, performing a medley of We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions. As if that wasn’t enough for us all to cope with, he then unleashed an acoustic performance of his latest single Feel Something. Now that we’ve tallied up all of the votes, we can reveal that with a whopping 62%, it was Lambert’s Feel Something performance that topped our poll. In second place was Believe with 25%, which we have to admit we’d expected to perform stronger than it did. That leaves the Oscars performance in third with only 13%. Celebrate the results by watching Lambert’s Feel Something acoustic performance all over again (and again, and again) below: www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_tALF6-YNA

From yesterday's discussion about why Queen fans may not become Adam fans. Probably many don't know he's also a solo artist. At a QAL concert, with all the yelling and singing, you may not hear or understand that the song he sings is from his solo work. And, when we saw QAL in Nashville two years ago, the song was TF. It did not fit at all with Queen's music IMO and the energy level dropped in the arena. Some may not have been inclined to find out more about him.
Hopefully the new team will do more publicity to inform the Queen audiences about Adam's solo music rather than the past separation of solo and QAL.
I think, that Adam won over many Queen fans. Most know about Adam‘s solo career and at least check his music out. The others are simply not interested. I totally agree with your assessment, nightowl. I have met many Adam fans who fell in love with him through Queen but we have to accept that some don't want to get into him that much. That's okay. However, I also agree with @kg that TF was not the best song choice for Adam to promote himself as a solo artist to the Queen audience, and for me too it disrupted the flow of the show. I also think that in order to "appreciate" the lyrics of the song you have to know a bit about Adam already and where he stands.

Wonder if Brian and Roger will pull out a few more deep cuts for this next tour! Besides the big hits, of course. Gotta have those!
