I might be In the minority but I don’t care what type of music he is planning on... I LOVE the voice, as long as he is singing I am usually happy... I also know any song he had a writing input in is going to be excellent! there are only three songs I can’t stand, all of them are not his ( BTIKM, NCOE, WWFM). And I agree, Adam said he loved Pop and Dance/EDM... May be his taste has changed/evolved, but I see no reason to expect a pure non-pop album... Lol, I love those.... As much as I love just about everything Adam has recorded, I must admit that a few songs are "skippers" for me, too. To me, WWFM is a repetitive drone. I know it was a big song for him, but to me, it's slow and plodding. JMO. BTIKM is ok. And I did like the NCOE video. I don't feel compelled to love every one of his songs equally. His voice is so good that almost all his songs work for me just fine. And many of them are off-the-charts outstanding. I just hope that his next batch of songs are real earworms that people can't get out of their heads. Songs that we want to hear a lot and don't get tired of. I think there will be plenty of those soon to come.

Shosh tweeted. Seems she's kinda knocking back what she thought was an April single release comment. So we're looking at May at the earliest. I keep believing that there is some master plan in the works that will make the timing come out right for optimum exposure. The QAL tour starts on July 10 and it's all over on August 23, but I really don't know if that has any bearing on the timing of releasing a new single.

Since it's almost April already I guess we'll have to be a bit more patience again. A single coinciding with the documentary would have been nice, but as most here already concluded not all Queen fans are into Adam's own music. Although I must say a lot of people I met here in Europe over the past years became fans because of Queen. I'm also one of them. It seems to me it's a bit different in the US for some reason. Maybe it has to do something with the fact that Queen is bigger here in Europe so the music is handed down the generations. Most of the people I met are of a generation that were too young to have seen Freddie live but did love the music. They were mostly a bit skeptical going to the concert but got out of it as a fan. As for Adam talking about a different direction: he seems to be contradicting himself a bit as well. Yes he's talking about real instruments, but he also talked about songs for in the car when you go out at night in his last IG story. Both can of course be there, but I'm not counting on 70's rock as the main theme of the album.

I don’t believe for one minute that there will be no new song dropped in concert with the documentary. It might not be a single but I’d bet anything there will be a song.

skaschep I took Adams, or I selfishly like to believe so, 'bang along in the car' as simply up-beat not a strictly dance-pop...like the snippet i keep referring to.

He has a richness of music on all his albums and some I like better that others. I have bought everything that Adam has released to support him but I think the only EDM song that I loved was "Lay Me Down" from Avicii's album.

Come to think of it I am a fan of the bonus tracks: Running, Voodoo, Afterhours, and my all time fav By The Rules... can’t explain why ...they all give me “ the feels”, especially BTR... talking about being in the minority, 😆

I know which snippet you are talking about and I'm not saying something like that won't be there. I just don't believe the main theme of the album will be like that. I'm sorry. But I'm just guessing like we all are. I expect Adam to amaze us all though and I bet there will be something on there for everybody. And I'm certainly not trying to force people to like something they don't. Music is personal. How you feel about it is something everybody does for themselves. Of course we all have our preferences. I just got the feeling that some were trying to push Adam in a certain direction that they liked. How are you then different from the labels that tried to push him into a certain direction?
