Also on this website (200 mil was reached on 5 March by the way) portalpopline.com.br/ghost-town-e-primeira-musica-do-adam-lambert-atingir-200-milhoes-de-reproducoes-no-spotify/Google translate: "Ghost Town" is the first song of Adam Lambert to reach 200 million reproductions in Spotify This Wednesday (20) Adam Lambert managed to reach 200 million reproductions in Spotify with "Ghost Town" in Spotify, being this the most played song of the singer on the platform. Recently, the clip also surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, also its most viewed clip. "Ghost Town" was the first single from "The Original High", the singer's third album of 2015. It reached second place in Australia but in the United States the maximum was # 64. Even so, it has better results than hits like "Whataya Want from Me" and "If I Had You". Currently Adam Lambert prepares the release of his fourth album and has already released the unreleased "Feel Something".

Bottom line, he needs more ears. A song needs more exposure. His fanbase is not nearly big enough to make a difference on its own. Nor do I feel like it's my job, personally, to stream 24/7. His team will have its work cut out for them when the single drops. Feel Something is a teaser. It was never going to be backed, nor, I'm guessing, was it expected to do much. I am sure there will be bigger plans for the single. Agree... But something must be going on BTS , Adam didn’t just tweet the YT again and then his management did the same for no reason imo The current "method" of how to make a song worthy of being a hit is so unfairly skewed through massive fan effort it's ridiculous. The whole streaming thing is artificially labor-intensive on the part of fans. If you're an artist at the very top with a huge fanbase, your fans don't have as heavy a burden. But if you're a couple tiers down the hierarchy, your fans have to be maniacally working for you. Technology has created this insanity. Each stream is just a small percentage of what an actual sale would be. To determine if an artist can support a tour based on all this nonsense is crazy. I KNOW that the streams all add up to sales. I get it. Feel Something wasn't an official single so it wasn't promoted as such. Hopefully, as others here have said, the official single will get its proper promo. Then we can stream our butts off. And buy the song, etc. etc. With luck, Adam's new music will support a solo tour. The international success of Ghost Town sure helped make that happen before. Fans are happy to buy music from their artists. But this streaming measure is not only unfair, but it's inaccurate. We all do the constant, multiple streams. The labels know this and try to adjust. It's a big crazy game. But we fans are stuck with no choice.

What about the other paid streaming services? They should be looking at all the major ones- like Apple Music etc.I personally use Amazon music because it’s the most convenient for our family. I’m not about to pay for Spotify or replace my current option that I love.

Love Pattihum, but not fair, IMO, to put all the responsibility on fans. Yes, we should stream, but it's also up to Adam's management and his people to make sure he does well. He's had lots of exposure, lots of people talking about him, and then....nothing. It would have been a really good time to release a single. I love Feel Something, but it was made clear to us that it wasn't a single...there was NO followup. Now there is dead silence again. Not our problem. I think that is the point compared to other artists fanbases, Adams is relatively small. Very well organised, and mobilized. But small none the less. Expecting his fanbase to increase sales or numbers exponentially. Is unrealistic. He needs new fans, he needs to expand his fanbase. That well happen in big High Profile Gigs like The Oscars. Feel Something is a very nice song, it is almost an introduction to Adam Lambert Values. Almost FYE 2.0ish. Vocals up front, has a nice hook etc. But I kinda get why it was not a lead single. I trust whatever is the lead single, well gain attention.

I’m not about to pay for Spotify or replace my current option that I love.I have Spotify and Amazon music as well. Amazon is easier for everything to me, lol. But I'm not going to worry about how many fans Adam has for streaming. There would not be enough of us unless he gets on many big playlists too. And even then we are only a small part of the help. I know we are waiting for the new single, but until we have heard it and see the reception it gets on radio and with the public, there is no way of knowing how well it will do either. I am one who believes that Adam could do well with a heartfelt ballad such as "Feel Something" based on the reception alone. But without it getting the chance and a real push, it is impossible to know what it could have done. So fingers crossed for great results with his real single. I hope there is good excitement, press and promotion when it finally does drop.
