I think that is the confusing part. Fans keep telling us to steam, buy, support and play videos and stream and play videos some more. Some of us do it because we love him and thought we were helping. Then they tell us not to care about his success cause Adam just wants to be happy and live his life. Who doesn't want that for him? But I think I'm just going to get off this train. The whiplash is crazy. When he releases an actual single, I will buy it and stream some but will stop with the 24/7 streaming and constant video hits. And as much as I love and appreciate his gift of "Feel Something," I'll listen to it when the mood hits me but will stop with the repeat plays. There seems to be little point if there were no expectations to begin with. HA! He seems to be in a good place so no reason to stress about or try to push his numbers. He is already very successful, so I will try not to worry about numbers but just enjoy what he does and ignore all the pleas to steam and play more, lol. I'm not saying to put less pressure on fans,LOL,I'm thinking that some fans might want to put less pressure on Adam.. Not sure how some fans are putting pressure on Adam as most are just hoping for tours or success with his music. But isn't it putting pressure on him and fans for fans to demand that we do more to increase his numbers? Are they important to him or not? It is too much to tell people not to care about his success but then ask them to do more to help him. FS is not his single but some want the fans to increase the numbers with little exposure. As I said, the whiplash is crazy. But if stepping back helps Adam then I'm all for it. And I agree with you 100% as I want to see him happy in his career and private life too.

Still hot as ever! Love that old pic. So smoldering. kind of a biker look, real bad-boy. And on the right, we have a hint of a smile, pretty relaxed. What a trip this has been! (so far)

So here's what I'm doing for the past couple of weeks on Spotify. I'm playing the PopRightNow playlist
on shuffle and whenever I think of it I click the FeelSomething play button to give it more spins. Now this doesn't get as many plays of the song as using a repeating FS only or short Adam only playlist but I feel it makes me more of a real person to Spotify. I also heart songs that I like that are in the playlist, to start linking Adam to those artists and other current songs. This helps Spotify's computer program know what the song sounds like besides the beats per minute ratio. This particular playlist is important because it is a Spotify curated one. We don't know if there is an actual person or just computer algorithms behind putting it together but Spotify does look at how songs perform on it's playlists more than on regular user's playlists. This playlist shows 60 songs but it actually seems to have around 80 in it's database so if you have hearted FeelSomething it may show to you but not to everyone. Currently it has popped back up into the top 60 and shows to the majority of listeners. Another thing to note is that while the playlist has almost 700,000 followers that doesn't mean that many people are listening to it. I has had just under 39,000 listeners in the last 4 weeks. Listeners don't have to listen to every song to be counted so no knowing for us any specifics on FS, we can just hope that other people have hearted it too. I just put this list on and Feel Something popped up as first to be played due to popularity!

With all the talk here about the relative value of streaming, etc., and the hope that Adam has a long, happy life and career, we cannot forget that the only way he can have that career is if his fans continue to support him fully. And hopefully the fanbase will grow!
So when the official single comes out, we DO have to stream we DO have to download and buy. We have to do all of it and get others to do the same. While it's true that his label and management play a major role in his promo and music success, we fans can't let our guard down. We play a major role, too. Good thing Adam has lots of international fans, too.
Just sayin', Adam needs us. He wants a solo tour and so do we. But we have to be part of making that happen. So I'm going to figure out what has glitched up my Spotify account so I'll be ready for the single. And continue to give FS some more streams. Like it or not, streaming is still the current way to get a song some notice.

I thought that if you played things on shuffle it doesn’t count in the play count? Or maybe I’m just confused. And on the subject of fans being encouraged to rack up plays, I personally get a little bummed when it seems fans are being berated for not playing or replaying or streaming plays 24/7. We all do what we can. I want the best for Adam, but I also need to do what works for me. I don’t think I’m a bad fan. (This isn’t directed at you, jablea, just at the general conversation).

I just went to add that playlist but Feel Something is not on it. ???????????????
