I‘m also a Queenbert. And I‘m waiting for them to come back to Europe. But I know, there are a lot of things to juggle. Shosh was just asked about November and December. Yesterday I saw somewhere, that Brian told the Chinese fans, that they will (probably?) come soon to their country. I think, QAL will play Asia and maybe Australia in October. There are very strong talks/rumors hinting at it. QAL only play tours that last 3-6 weeks. There is time for Adam‘s solo stuff between that. I don‘t see any way, that Brian and Roger will replace Adam. No way. I agree nightowl. Adam has managed his solo and Queen frontman duties for six years now. Thankfully, I see no indication of it ending. Brian and Roger can not tour as long as they did when they were younger. Queen is not producing new music that they must promote while Adam is off doing his solo work. And it is wonderful that Adam can continue with his solo work and acting or whatever and still be ready when QAl hit the road for a few months. I'm excited for his solo music and I still hope it will incorporate some Queen(ish) type music, as he has said and another beautiful ballad would be great. I really don't see Brian and Roger trying to do worldwide arena shows without Adam so that does not worry me at all. But I would like to see Adam have another big US hit as he did with WWFM. I know he has bigger hits in other countries (and that is wonderful) but to get nominations and award show appearances, he needs hits in the US again. Some of his other hits have done well in the US and better abroad but WWFM is his only top 10 US Billboard hit and Grammy nominated song and that was more pop/rock. I imagine he would want that again even with his very successful career. However, it must be thrilling for him to be more in control now of his career choices. I think his solo work and QAL will continue to work together just fine. Very excited about Shosh's tweet.

I have a really hard time imagining Brian and Roger, at this age, starting with somebody brand new, especially after touring with somebody that fits them as perfectly as Adam does. And let's face it, how many performers are out there that would equal Adam in voice and talent and personality? I don't think that would happen...at all. I would place money on "it ain't never gonna happen." 1. They tried performing as Queen with another frontman, Paul Rogers. My impression is, try as hard as they could, they could not recreate the magic, the feel, the power of Queen live. It got them back out there, touring their music, but I don't think it was totally satisfying. 2. From reading between the lines, my impression is they gave up being the active band "Queen" at the end of the partnership with Rogers. Roger decided to keep the music alive by creating the first rate tribute band, Queen Extravaganza. But Brian has said they thought it was over for Roger and him, performing wise. 3. Brian and Roger saw a spark of potential when they met and performed with Adam in 2009. Unexpected, unplanned, never sought out, so they have said repeatedly. Since then, Queen + Adam Lambert has been successful musically, performance wise, in concert, with audiences, with the press, and personality wise beyond their hopes and dreams. Lightning struck a second time, and Brian and Roger know how rare that is. 4. Brian and Roger have repeatedly said that, had Adam not come along, they would not be touring any more. And that if Adam was not performing with them, they were not interested in finding another frontman.

The collaboration has been a gift beyond measure.

Videos of Adam from the Oscars being photographed. Sometimes I think that Adam has an unwritten agreement with the photographers that he will not smile on the red carpet. I know he has done some smiling, but sometimes he has to be coaxed into it by one of the photographers. I wish he'd do it more. His smile just glows!

Well pi, you can tell your father I totally agree with the outfit, etc. This suit has always been one ofnot my favorite of Adam's outfits....it is sexy and flattering and showy all at one time. Topped off with the crown, of course!!! Love this pic....and how many guys can carry this off, I ask you.

Very happy about Shosh's reply about Adam doing his own promo in the fall! Yaaaaaaay! So there IS a plan! It's a relief to actually hear it from her.
As for QAL, it is pretty plain that QAL's tours will likely get shorter. I think Brian and Roger prefer it that way. And shorter QAL tours means that Adam has more flexibility for his own music and solo tours. It should all work out nicely until Brian and Roger decide to actually retire, at least from touring. I can visualize QAL performing in various kinds of one-off shows, special appearances, etc. They can remain as QAL without doing all the touring. Adam should be able to develop his own career in other ways while keeping his spot with QAL. He'll have more flexible time.
I do believe that Adam will be their last front man.

I would put money on them not touring with anyone else, definitely not replacing Adam with someone. Bri sometimes works with Kerry Ellis and Roger still does bits solo and sometimes with Spike's band so I could see them doing other things like that while Adam's promoting or touring his own music but no way could I see them getting someone to front them as Queen + and it definitely wouldn't be MM, I'd put a lot of money on that. They've said over and over they only want to tour with Adam and they've been amazingly successful with the collaboration so I couldn't see any way they'd want to start again with someone else.

I'd bet my house money on the presumptuous fact that Adam is the last frontman of Queen.
