LindaG23, thanks for the explanation. I think I'm with your progeny lol, all those weird corners hurt my brain. I like a more geometric, even design. Of course, my ideal house would be a old fashioned ranch style, complete with the wrap around porch. It's no wonder that Adam's house doesn't work for me. Yes, Thanks LindaG...of course you'd be my go to person.... Still think I read somewhere when we first saw the new house that there was a term and his house was a modified...."...."style . It did have something to do with the cantilevers. Maybe if I were young and artsy I'd like contemporary.....but I'm old so I like traditional....colonial/Fr Provential, etc. And since I'm old those stairs either to the basement and/or parking or upstairs to BRs are getting harder and harder to navigate.

I love it. He is so damn cute when he dances and he has a great butt. Those long legs of his are amazing. I loved watching him dance. Thanks for that video. Perked me right up.

DancyGeorgia You had me crying right along with what I assume is your daughter. I knew exactly how she felt. Darling video. I can't believe I actually cried with her. She was so excited.

I'm certainly not young, but I do really like the current contemporary styles. I think the geometry appeals to the engineer in me and I like the more organic materials, plus who wouldn't want to live in a mild climate where you could keep those ginormous exterior accordion patio doors wide open! I am actually secretly looking forward all the photos Adam's friends are going to post of his house. As to stairs, lol, I am currently wondering how I could possibly retrofit an elevator in my house. I think moving may be best option.

It would be interesting to find out what attracted him to this particular house...it has the weirdest shape, IMO. Definitely not my style at all. Strange corners jutting out; it reminds me of a house where different owners kept adding on on different sides. My sister has a house like that. The original small house is in the front, then a few different owners added on to the back and to one side of the house. Maybe it's a modern style I'm not aware of. From what I have seen especially on the inside, it is really cool. I love an open floor plan and big windows, especially in a climate where you don't have to turn on the heat too much. The yard with the pool is pretty spectacular too - major improvement right here. If the house is still in a neighborhood he desires, even better!!

I have been thinking about it and it's certainly possible that it could be called a contemporary modified "prairie" style house like this one in Chicago designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Oh....I found where I saw the description of Adam's new house... it was the word Prairie style I was trying to remember. variety.com/2018/dirt/real-estalker/adam-lambert-sunset-strip-contemporary-1202916557/Glam rocker Adam Lambert substantially zhuzhed up his already pretty snazzy residential circumstances with the $6.5 million purchase of an awkwardly massed but sleekly finished and vaguely Prairie-style contemporary residence perched conveniently just above L.A.’s dream-stained and ever-chic Sunset Strip. ETA: LindaG....you found it!

I love to watch Adam dance! Sometimes he's so smooth and elegant and sometimes he's kind of klutzy, but no matter what, I love his body and I love seeing that face full of joy when he dances. Hope to see some new moves for Solo Tour 2020!

I LOVE the climate in LA. Can't imagine having any windows opened down here where I live...lol. The house would be brimming with bugs...all kinds of bugs. I guess there are some bugs in the Hollywood Hills with the trees and flowering shrubs, etc. Guess you just don't let them bother you....or maybe there is some kind of contraption or electric field or whatever to repel them away from your windows and doors.
You know when I first visited WeHo back in 2013 I think it was when we did DelMar....I was kinda disappointed that everything looked old and worn. I hadn't really thought about that whole area being built up in the 1940s. Adam's current house was built in the 40s. The streets were narrow and winding and showed lots of repairs to the asphalt, etc. There are power and cable lines everywhere. I guess I was expecting everything all updated. I kept wondering how all those old water and sewer lines were installed on the sides of hills way back when and I guess all the road patches were for repairs for that thru the years.
