He was at Evita...I don't think anybody dresses conservatively to go to an Evita party. He's toured with fire engine red hair, green hair, silver/blonde hair...pretty sure we'll survive however he chooses to tour next lol. I just can't wait to see him perform. Yet somehow all of those were more attractive. All of them. I'm actually not even looking forward to the tour at this point if that's the look. I don't know how he expects to be taken at all seriously and I find it disrespectful to the Queen brand. That is an unbelievable statement to make. He looks great, like the rock star he is! I think the hair fits perfectly, after all Brian still wears his hair long! geesh

Gotta agree...not liking the look is one thing but calling it disrespectful to queen is quite stark. Freddie had long hair as well and yes, i know Adam isn't the confounder of the band, yes but I think Adams respect comes through on his being professional in his work with them, making sure he takes care of himself so he can perform, that he brings his musical skills, his performance skills, that he's able to do his shit live and enables queen on the level they are
This might come of as little stronger written than it is meant
Love 'n light

How is his long hair disrespectful to Queen? Brian himself has long hair at 70 or71... I look at past videos of Queen with Freddie, and Adam is practically conservative lol.

Just a little story...i sent the 'feel something' live video to my musician friend, she called Adam a vocal god...it prompted her to rewatch Adams cover of 'believe' and she said she thinks it's the best she heard of him I love, love that song...I still watch that video all the time...and then end up down the rabbit hole with Believe, and Girl Crush, and One More Try. Sigh...makes me so happy.

It's not literally the length of his hair. People seem focused on my criticism of that. It's like he's actively trying to sabotage himself (which he's done at times before.) Why does someone so naturally good looking want to make himself uglier? Actually I do think the red and green were ridiculous but at least I could see some kind of camp factor he was going for and it was kinda fun. Queen I expect camp, it's Queen! But this isn't that. Camp is not unkempt. He doesn't look like a rock god, I have no idea what he's trying to say and who he is trying to reach. What new fans is he expecting to make with this look? He's got new music coming out soon that he needs to promote. I'm curious to hear what the new music sounds like to pair with this look. Lynyrd Skynyrd? There are millions and millions of dollars riding on this tour, he owes it to them to look like he takes it seriously. I don't know how this will expand his fanbase in any way. Trust me, I'm not a troll. Been following Adam for 10 years and I've never been so disappointed. And I'm not the only one with this opinion. There are many of us, maybe not here, scratching our heads.

Well, I would hope his fanbase would be excited about new music, and about the fact that we stan a vocal god.
Hair, clothes, accessories...for ME, everything is secondary to the voice and to the music.
And not that I'm particularly a fan of the long hair, but I just can't see Adam promoting new music and people gasping because of how he looks and walking away. They seemed pretty impressed with him at the Oscars, and at the Kennedy Center. I didn't see anybody walking out because of the way he looked.
Still don't understand, but I guess not buying a ticket to the upcoming tour would be the solution to not wanting to see his current look.

Adam has millions of fans who will follow him with any look. Seems ridiculous to think otherwise. He's in the music business not a board member of a corporation. I think attracting new fans will happen and why on earth would you think he doesn't take it seriously? Adam always looks the part and for you to make a judgement on his look especially now when he's in the down time before the tour is ridiculous! He will shine like he always does when he hits the stage!

I think he is aiming for open minded people that look behind his looks and like to listen a good and fun music. Your criticisim is an extreme shallow one. Look at Ed Sheeran fans. Do they hate Ed how he look? Every entertainer must be beautiful? Where is the fan to try someting different?

His look is tragic. If he goes on a high profile tour like that, I don't even know what to say. lol, we are really going to have to delve into your psychic to figure out what triggers you about long hair. Maybe it's my age group but I've always been surrounded by men with hair past their collar. Now I didn't like my hubby's much when he wore it in a ponytail but he never did like the air force look he had to wear in his twenties. Our newish neighbors play in rock bands, guess what length their hair is.
