Already at over 28,000 views on YouTube after less than 2 hours and everyone seems to be loving it. Comments have all been positive so far. the song has a great hook and lots of comments from people commenting how they have been waiting for something like this from Adam. So I am Feeling Good about this new era!

New Eyes isn't doing it for me, can't help it. The whole artwork around it and the song, not my cup of tea. I'm happy for the new era, but hoping better bops in the near future.

So after listening to New Eyes and watching the video about 10 times, I'm brought back to a time when I was a teenager, sitting in my bedroom , my little black transistor radio on my favorite music station. It was a few years after the Beatles invasion, and I liked some of their songs---but much preferred Dylan , the Stones, and Joan Baez. Then on it came, this song with the strangest, most compelling vibe..."Let me take you down---------------Strawberry Fields Forever." I couldn't articulate what it did to my senses, but it took me somewhere-----and I never felt the same about the Beatles again. I finally GOT IT,and I saw that they mattered.New Eyes brings me someplace ; I'm not sure why, but I think this song will make Adam matter to alot of people. My daughter always says to me,"Yeah, Mom, of course Adam's voice is beautiful but he has to sing a song that matters. I think he's already sung many songs that"matter," including Outlaws Of Love, but New Eyes presents the musical tone that carries the story---that may just be the one that makes many non fans stop and listen. I guess we'll see. Adam, my courageous man.

This is a real grower. I really disagree its a song that everyones doing. No one in the market right now is doing 70's Glam/Pop. This suits Adam to a Tee. I feel he has really found his sound. I get it is not for everyone. But I can see this really catching on partic with a younger audience. IT is really sexy lol, and seems to be inspired alot by the Great Glam artists of the 70s. David Bowie, Adam Ant etc. Looking forward to hearing this on Idol. I Am sure the arrangement well be perfect. And I LOOOVE the MV. Yeah its a bit unsettiling. But I Think that is the intent. IT seems to represent courage, and hope. Adam was talking about how he was depressed. I Sense this is about his BF? Hmm. Anyway Love the new sound.

I will say that after hearing this only the one time, it sounds like the best track he's done in years. Sounds more genuine. Chorus reminded me of a slower version of Counting Crows' Hangin' Around. The track could have used a bridge towards the end to give it a little variety but again - the sound is much better than it's been.
