I am happy New Eyes is being received so well. I think the soulful/bluesy/rockish vibe will work so much better for Adam with the QAL part of his career. And it just seems like a better fit with his image and style.

twitter.com/Ent_Focus/status/1128579603981795328Entertainment Focus @ent_Focus Adam Lambert launches New Eyes video and confirms new album title Velvet bit.ly/2HkmJDG via @entfocusmusic Adam Lambert has released his new single New Eyes along with the music video for the track. Written by Lambert, Paris Carney with Jamie Sierota producing, the accompanying video was directed by Miles & AJ. It’s the first of a multi-part music video short film in support of Lambert’s fourth studio album Velvet. Watch the video below: “I wanted my first single to reflect my current state of mind and to bring listeners into a romantic, earthy vibe. New Eyes is a love letter to innocence and to finding new passions,” says Lambert. New Eyes is the follow-up to Feel Something, which was released in February and will also feature on Velvet. The new solo music comes following Lambert’s performance with Queen at the 2019 Oscars earlier this year. Velvet arrives four years after the release of Lambert’s last solo album The Original High, which reached the Top 3 in the US and Top 10 in the UK. Since the release of The Original High, Lambert has been touring the world with Queen, including a huge world arena tour, with a North American summer tour kicking off in July, and a recently announced stadium tour of Australia and Asia. He appeared in a cameo role in Bohemian Rhapsody and will be voicing the character Emperor Maximus in animated-live action hybrid movie Playmobil: The Movie due for release this August. twitter.com/entfocusmusic/status/1128584782231818240
