I agree...I'm not sure why the major discussions about drugs...I just don't see it in the video...maybe because people keep calling the video "trippy"? I totally don't think that's the message, and people are missing the actual message. I agree as well. I think the video is very complex. And if you donāt care to really think about the meaning and interpretation, you easily associate the older man taking a pill with drugs. I believe, thatās done on purpose. But that this is not a drug in the common way, but a pill of love, which makes you able to see the good things in life and thus makes you happy. All these items in a way make the people able to see the world with new eyes. And they become happy and fulfilled. But you really need to think about it. With the vibe of the video and music, it can easily mistaken. He's not taking a pill. The imagery is completely in line with LSD stamps. A colored LSD laced tissue placed on the tongue. Google search will show lots of similarity.

Loving the song more with each listen. I am confused what it means about burying the Tyler comment?
Aside from the success of his new album, the QAL tour,āa big part of which he is working with a designer !!š¤š, and so much else, here is what I wish for Adam: that he could have some period of time just being āAdamā, originally without the āhe looks like Prince, Billy Ray Cyrus, George Michaelsā, or āhis music sounds likeā, well, you can take your pick, almost. As to the multitude of Freddie comparisons, they arenāt going anywhere; in fact, they are likely to grow.
But although I know people (me included) often look for comparisons in many areas to help with understanding and perhaps classification, I just wish Adam could be, well, Adam only, at least for a while.

Just an observation -- when you Spotify, there is a choice to let Spotify choose your music once your playlist finishes. In the past, once Adam's playlist ended I'd start getting Grande, Bieber, Swift, Perry, etc. Now I'm getting some really, really great artist. Sorry, don't know the names as I didn't get up each time to look -- but Pink was definitely there as well as newer Gaga. Alot of solo artist - mainly female. He got Australian Pop added to his Spotify descriptions, it might bring in some new things. Maybe a lot of Aussies added him to their mix lists.

I think itās referring to older conversations here where people seemed to be complaining that Tyler never talked about or complimented Adam.

This whole convo about drugs is bringing me down. I don't think that's the message in this video. It's about love and happiness and what it takes to achieve that. As Adam said the elixir is given to people in different ways ( a magical or medicinal potion )and then they find their happiness. Sounds fabulous to me! I don't have a problem with it, after all not everyone is taking drugs, but Lucy's Grandpa certainly is (Lucy is specific reference to LSD and so is the stamp on the tongue laced with LSD). And Adam has never shied away from talking about drugs, wasn't it an LSD trip that got him thinking about going on Idol? He could have included native americans and magic mushrooms. I agree that the while deeper meaning is about finding your own way to happiness, some people will only see the superficial. And as we are seeing in our comments and those coming in from around the world he is an international artist. And he's probably of the opinion that most drugs should be legalized instead of putting users in jail, help them if they abuse or hurt others.

Is it good from Adam for fans to keep tying to push this drug story? If that is what you think the message is fine. But is it really fair to Adam if that is not what his reference is and the message he is trying to convey. He told us what it means. But even if you thought something different (because of his past or who you think he is as a person), why is your meaning more important than his? It is his art and his message. Why isn't that good enough? Are we really hoping that the other interpretation takes off?
