Ticket sales for QAL in Japan have been in the news today as well again. Lots of tweets in Japanese. I don't understand everything of that.
From further tweets it seems like the tickets that people got were delivered. A lot of people are now selling them on Twitter. As it was kind of a lottery.

Just so you know---my son {who's just a few years older than Adam} called tonight and told me he liked Adam's NE !!! He is the one who is treating me to the QAL concert in San Jose and has come with me to several QAL concerts on previous tours. He really loves Queen's music and has always said he knows Adam has a good voice but his style of music isn't his taste:---til this single. Yeah, Mom ,this one is good.
He listens to all kinds of music and is very discriminating in his music choices---loves Tool and a former group called Danzig as well as some of the classics, Led Zep, Dylan, Metallica , Guns N Roses and had a special love for Nirvana. He also played piano when he was younger-- for quite a few years-- and had an affinity for Bach. {His teacher used to say,"He has Bach in his bones!} What I'm trying to say is, if New Eyes caught his attention in a positive way, I'm thinking that this new song will be more far-reaching, and appeal to many beyond his usual fan base. My son has never said he liked any particular songs of Adam's before, with the exception of Ghost Town.
I also am impressed by the amount of promo the single is getting . Adam has worked so hard for so long. He deserves all the accolades and recognition he gets.

I think that IG response is the first time Adam affirmatively mentioned Queen as an influence for NE! Make me really hope that we get to hear a QAL performance of NE this summer. Musical influences are above my ears' pay grade. Tell me what you hear that is Queen like, maybe it's a deep cut? Oh and do you have any specific song for the bass line that you said both NE and Slow Hands reference? I'd like to listen. I think he loves being in total control. It harkens back to the great job he did on the Trespassing album only to have the wigs step in and make him add conformist singles.

With Adam's single. Not sure he's positive. But it's the 2nd single mentioned and JB and Ed are there as well so probably seen by a lot of people. twitter.com/guideguardian/status/1129337588064690177The Guardian Guide @guideguardian Who's reviewed the singles for us ths week? Why, it's @michaelcragg www.theguardian.com/music/2019/may/17/gracey-if-you-loved-me-track-of-week … Adam Lambert New Eyes With his decadent, murder-mystery facial hair, Laura Ashley-inspired blouses and slight whiff of port, American Idol alumnus-turned-Freddie Mercury stand-in Adam Lambert has essentially morphed into raffish former home wrecker Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. Which is … well, it’s unexpected. Equally unexpected is this new single, which reins in the glam-rock land grab of old in favour of a streamlined strut Llewelyn-Bowen might refer to as the 7th Cavalry emerging o’er the brink of the hill. Or something.

@toviasmithnpr: 15 years ago today, #Massachusetts made history, as the nation's first state to allow #GayMarriage... So historic, that @rsiegel47 came to Boston to host @npratc from #Boston. Our coverage from that day... n.pr/2YtoqEQ
