This isn’t a comment on the merits of the video, but a practical issue. We are seeing a clip of the chorus part of it shown on shows like ET Canada and GMBritain (edit: that may not be accurate but somewhere...) and that clip shows almost no Adam - mainly an elderly man and a green bottle in a pocket. Not of much interest with no context; no good look at gorgeous Adam; not the best way to spend a very precious promotional spot....imho. I think it would have been an idea to arrange within the video, a tiny bit of the chorus part that would have more impact as a 10 second ‘sound and vision bite’ with just this specific ‘sound bite’ purpose in mind. When I direct Adam’s next video that’s what I’ll do.

Adam has evolved beautifully but I find this particular treasure from the past so relevant right now What a wondrous man he is! youtu.be/A6NUr3461bg

This Happy Feet video to Pop That Lock is so cute it deserves reposting in today's thread! How is about this...just so cute and perfectly timed. Wait beyond first 20 secs. When they all join in, it’s magical.

. And you know, of course, of course, I’ve traveled and had my various nights out here and there and have had various little flings and affairs and trysts and romances. A lot of this album is about connection and relationships. Being a traveling musician, you have a very specific, interesting type of love life.”
That idiosyncratic love life undoubtedly served as a major inspiration for “New Eyes” infectious lyricism. “I was writing the song with Paris Carney and Jamie Sirota two really wonderful people. And I was saying, well, I want to write something romantic about meeting somebody that sort of turns it all around for you. The thing that we also kind of thought about with that lyric is ‘New Eyes’ is like, the person that I’m talking about is innocent and their eyes are new. It’s not that the eyes are new to me it’s that their eyes are new to them too, they’re innocent. They’re not jaded and bitter, and they haven’t been through a bunch of bullshit. They’re like fresh and look at things clearly.”
