He's said there are some up tempo songs...various vibes, etc and there are also a couple of what he called "hits" on the album as well. It's going to be really interesting with each song to see the puzzle pieces fit together. He definitely wants to tour this music, has promised a tour and has said the Velvet music really works live so I feel sure he'll make that happen sometime in 2020. I do believe that there is a real plan in place for the release of the songs on Velvet. Adam has a theme going, and I'm feeling like the songs will come out in some sort of thematic order, kind of telling a story. I hope it all works! I believe him when he ways that there are songs that are up-temp, very energetic. And hopefully, there are some HITS in there! NE was his love song to Javi. He had to get it out there and say it to the world. That's fine, but I think many of us are ready for a real upbeat track that gets everyone jumping for joy. Hope it's the next song! And Brian and Roger are the ones to decide about new music with QAL. Adam has little to do with it. The PR venture didn't go all that well. The fans love QUEEN songs, plain and simple. That being said, they may change their minds. It's a lot of work to write, produce and record new music. I not sure they have the interest.

Wow! With every Lino’s tweet we are finding out that Adam’s level of involvement in the movie was much deeper than “just a hired VoiceOver actor”...pretty much the same story as with QAL tours...

This statement may be all well and good but Brian and Roger already tried this once with Paul Rogers and it went nowhere. The Queen fans did not want it. They absolutely want the band to keep playing the original Queen music and I think Adam knows this. I'm sure it's been discussed with the band and so far it's a no. I don't think they want to go down that road again. I would personally love it but it would be a big risk in my opinion. Touring has been so successful why spend months in a studio, besides Adam has his own music. I'll never understand how some think they know more than Queen and Adam about how they make or don't make new music.. pretty unbelievable, don't ya think?

Adam lead me to believe we are getting a MV “movie” coming out song by song, so definitely sounds like it will be a story... re QAL new music: I disagree with your thoughts (bolded) I just can’t see how this can be true... don’t they need to be equally on board for a collaborative project like this to happen?

twitter.com/billboard/status/1131560672431693824billboard @billboard .@adamlambert says it doesn't "make total sense" to record a new album with @queenwillrock: "To me, #Queen is Freddie" blbrd.cm/MlgwTB Four years since releasing The Original High, Adam Lambert is ready to release new music in the form of his upcoming album, Velvet. Though it's been a while since fans have had a new album, Lambert has been touring the world as the vocalist of iconic band Queen since 2011--but that doesn't mean recording an album with them is in the works. “People always ask if we want to record together and I’m not sure it makes total sense because it wouldn’t really be Queen because to me Queen is Freddie,” Lambert told Hunger. “My favorite thing is collaborating and putting these concerts together and creating on stage – it’s super fulfilling and exciting.” "Once you figure out who is Queen – you realize they’ve been in your pop culture subconscious the whole time," he explained. "Their one of those bands that their songs are so iconic that you might not know anything about them but you know the damn song!" In regards to Velvet, he said its a nod to the music of the past. "Sonically it references a lot of the music I herd in the house growing up: it’s retro," he said. "There are a lot of 70s and 80s choices in there and it lives in a world that is a fusion of new and old – it definitely has a vintage edge to it. Also as a whole I would it say it is more soulful than anything I’ve ever put out before – at least that’s what my friends have been telling me! Yeah, it’s Velvet – the word means so many different things. It feels smoother; it’s a very smooth delivery." twitter.com/BillboardPride/status/1131575561061576706

OK, so Adam said the Album will describe a Journey of self discovery, of finding your way from a dark place to hapiness. Where do you think ne and fs fit? As i understood him fs is where it started in the drenges and ne is where it "ends", a lighter place? The rest of the songs tell the story in between would be my guess. What do others think? Not sure if we'll get the same energies and storylines from the "to be continued" music video and the album. The mv starts with NE and it will be interesting to see what happens next. I remember from a recent interview that supposedly there will be an upbeat track in August after QAL, so that one might follow NE unless we'll get another song in between. I am excited to see how Adam will string his different energies and moods together in the spirit of "smooth, sensual, glam". But I am happy to wait. I think it is fun to anticipate and guess for a while by being "drip fed" with "velvety" new treasures and revelations. Clever concept.
