The Global Restaurant and Entertainment Brand Continues its Longstanding Partnership with the Foundation Through a Series of Collaborative Initiatives from June Through December HOLLYWOOD, Fla., May 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Hard Rock International is proud to announce a continuation of its partnership with The Mercury Phoenix Trust, a UK charity created in memory of Freddie Mercury by Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor together with their manager Jim Beach to support the global fight against HIV/AIDS, that includes a series of collaborative initiatives taking place from June through December 2019. As The Mercury Phoenix Trust brings together Freddie Mercury's legendary passion for music and social purpose, so too does Hard Rock. The iconic restaurant and entertainment brand was founded on the mottos, "Love All - Serve All," "Take Time to Be Kind," "Save the Planet" and "All is One," and honors its commitment to serve people and the planet through its partnership with The Mercury Phoenix Trust. As part of the partnership, The Hard Rock Heals Foundation – Hard Rock's charitable arm – will donate a portion of proceeds from co-branded activations and Freddie Mercury inspired merchandise such as collectible tees and tote bags to The Mercury Phoenix Trust in support of the fight against HIV/AIDS. "The Mercury Phoenix Trust has been a valued partner of Hard Rock's for nearly a decade, and we are excited to continue the partnership in 2019 starting with an exciting collection of co-branded merchandise launching in June during Pride Month with proceeds benefiting the foundation," said Edward Deutscher, Senior Vice President of Merchandising and eCommerce at Hard Rock International. "Our new Pride merchandise collection is inspired by Freddie Mercury and provides a unique opportunity to celebrate equality and raise awareness and funds for The Mercury Phoenix Trust, while embracing Hard Rock's All is One mantra alongside the LGBTQ+ community." To honor Freddie Mercury and Queen, Hard Rock Cafe locations around the U.S. will host various Queen-themed activations from July through August in celebration of Queen + Adam Lambert's sold out North American tour taking place this summer. "Hard Rock's ongoing support of The Mercury Phoenix Trust's mission has been invaluable, and we cherish the partnership that continues to strengthen year over year between their iconic brand and our foundation," said Mercury Phoenix Trust trustee and Queen's manager, Jim Beach. As a loyal partner since 2013, The Hard Rock Heals Foundation has donated proceeds from its annual Freddie for a Day celebrations to The Mercury Phoenix Trust. This year, Hard Rock will further its support for the foundation by extending the annual tradition to Freddie for a Week – a week-long, fundraising celebration taking place this September. Fans will be able to participate in Freddie for a Week celebrations at Hard Rock properties around the world and support The Mercury Phoenix Trust by purchasing limited-edition Freddie Mercury pins and popular Freddie-inspired mustaches. finance.yahoo.com/news/hard-rock-international-announces-partnership-142500672.html

Very interesting article, especially considering Adam seems to be using less well known songwriters this era. @npr: It's one of the most important –– and least understood –– jobs in music. So what's it really like to be a professional songwriter in 2019? n.pr/2I6wHb2Interesting although it doesn't say if the singer gets a bigger cut with streaming. Just a few years ago we were all saying that Adam et al had to write on their own songs or they wouldn't get any money even if it was a hit. So I wonder if it's flipped or just nobody makes money with music anymore and you have to do on celebrity appearances and tours (we know about the tours). So many artists are going into fashion/art and selling on their websites. It's a dog eat dog world.

I am being very classy quoting myself...lol The reason is I just realized that the 2020 Grammys will be taking place on January 26 = the date of QAL in Japan = no matter what Adam ain't going to be there ... so there is that...

Very interesting article about the Mercury Phoenix Trust and The Hard Rock Heals Foundation. Good people do good things. This looks like a very worth-while organization.
And as for Adam's "new" hair, I love it! It's somewhere between short and long, and it's just right, IMO. With some very inventive cutting techniques. Adam has a miraculous head of hair. So versatile. I'm sure his stylists love working with him. And he has the perfect face to show off just about any cut.

A little different view of the latest hair style Very nice. He still has a lot of hair but now you can see his handsome face. If he was not going to trim the facial hair then all the other hair was almost making his face disappear. TBH, all the conversations about extensions and wigs were fine for a photo shoot but did not enjoy hearing it with his performances. Adam has gorgeous hair. The hair on the side looks brushed back and not really cut short... may be it’s my wishful thinking... he looks gorgeous! Love the white jacket too!

This new haircut is . Yup. It's a real nice cut. And there's still plenty of fluffy hair left to "play with". Can't wait! Great to see you checking in, despite the fact that you did not feel instant love with NE. Do I remember right that you are warming up a bit more?

Ah, yes, that weird thing happen at 3am on Sunday when I was driving home from downtown Toronto after the street party following the Raptors win that secured them a spot in the NBA Finals (first time in franchise history). I must have pressed something on the control panel and the audio feed switched from the CD to Bluetooth and as I only have two thing in iTunes, NE audio and video, they just played over and over until I arrived at my house, and that's a good half an hour drive, haha! And since I was in a very good mood, I kind of looked at the song with *new eyes*, or ears. I get it now. Still not my very favourite song by any stretch, but I have a place for it in my heart now.
Re: the new hair - it's still fluffy, rich and versatile BUT it doesn't look like it might be a major pain to deal with in a 2+ hour Queen set.
