Is it cold in LA? lol. Adam all bundled up in a sweater. Wish I could send him some of our mid 90s we've had for over a week while the poor midwest is in weather hell.

Oh that's confusing! If it's not on their playlists, how can it be added just because I play it? I'm having a hard time understanding how I can alter someone else's playlist.. isn't it the playlist of the person who created it in the first place? If I'm seeing it on their playlists and I play NE, does that still count? And will it count as being played on those particular playlists or does that even matter? I don't see it as the 1st song on the other playlists you posted.. Now we do have written information from Spotify that says their algorithms look at how often a song is added to playlists so if you haven't already make sure you've heart NE and also add it to one of your playlists. And I think most fans are better off playing from a list that has NewEyes on it multiple times whether it's your playlist or skaschep's or mine, than trying to play from a playlist just because it has lots of followers. Make it easy on your self. We discuss those Playlists names and follower numbers for their news worthiness (ie it's where non-fans may find out about the song) but if we want to get numbers up just play a playlist with NE on it a lot. Thanks for the info! I've added NE to a playlist, but am not sure what you mean by heart it. I'm not seeing a place to heart it on Spotify. I thought it was important to play NE on the playlists to keep it on those playlists with lots of followers for the not-yet fans? I try to play it on the top playlists with another song or two for a couple of times, then switch to another playlist. I've tried finding other songs I like on some of these playlists, but it's slim pickings. NE sounds really great when you listen to what's out there, at least to my ears.

Rain, rain and more rain. 55 degrees so far today although Sunday was pretty nice. Ya, the tornado's have been devastating. So far nothing where I live but am ever vigilant.

My "Top Playlists" selections are running! Thanks skaschep ! I just set up partitions in my full computer and server stack for Adam! Now they can be working for him while I am working -- but not distracting me! Wow, now that is some serious next level sh*t! Your technical abilities continue to amaze me, Q3, and after 9+ years on this board, you would think I should know better. But man, running playlists in different partitions. Wow, that's all I can say.

I've tried finding other songs I like on some of these playlists, but it's slim pickings. NE sounds really great when you listen to what's out there, at least to my ears. First - the heart icon will show up next to the song on the player bar, while it's playing. A solid heart has been hearted and an outlined heart has not - I guess another way to say it is favorited as Spotify puts the songs you heart in your favorite songs list. We do want NE to stay on those playlists but we don't really know how. Listeners who heart the song when they hear it it in a playlist and/or add it to their own playlists give great points to the song. But as a fan you can only do that once to be counted. So the other is listening to songs that are on the playlist and liking and playing them along with NE. That part takes work and as you've seen for some reason this batch of current songs is very slim pickings to my ears too. I've only found about 5 and I've hunted and pecked so why not just play songs you like and give NE as many spins as possible since as Q3 has said that's what regular folks do and which is what regular folks would do with a song they like which in turn, the number of spins should increase it's ability to stay on playlists.
