Can someone ask Shoshana if Adam will do the Graham Norton Show when in London ? It's unlikely that she would be able to answer because most media appearance agreements stipulate that the announcement will be made by whatever show the appearance will be on. When it is not against agreements in place she is pretty good about giving info.

Interesting set of tweets about the impact, or not, of technology on music superstar earnings, present days vs historical. @paulkrugman: The Times has published a posthumous article based on the work of the late, great Alan Krueger on one of his side interests: the economics of the music business. And it is, of course, great. But the premise may not be right! 1/ www.nytimes.com/2019/06/01/opinion/sunday/music-economics-alan-krueger.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage@paulkrugman: Krueger used Rihanna as an example of how modern media allow superstars to earn far more than they could from live performances. And he cites the Victorian economist Alfred Marshal on the limits faced by past artists, like Mrs. Billington of the London opera 2/ @paulkrugman: Mrs. Billington, we're told, was paid 10,000 pounds for a season. How should we think of that? Well, the Bank of England has a great historical database, which tells us that per capita GDP in Great Britain was around 30 pounds at the time 3/ www.bankofengland.co.uk/statistics/research-datasets@paulkrugman: So Mrs. Billington earned around 300 times per capita GDP. Meanwhile, Billboard tells us that in 2016 Rihanna earned $22.3 million 4/ www.billboard.com/photos/7865108/highest-paid-musicians-2016-money-makers@paulkrugman: That was a bit over 350 times U.S. GDP per capita in that year. So to a first approximation Rihanna and Mr.s Billington actually earned about the same amount relative to their societal norms! 5/ fred.stlouisfed.org/series/A939RC0A052NBEA@paulkrugman: And as best I can make out, Jenny Lind, the "Swedish nightingale", was paid about as much per performance relative to prevailing incomes as today's superstars 6/ americanhistory.si.edu/blog/jenny-lind@paulkrugman: So the funny thing is that technology seems to have had much *less* impact on superstar earnings, at least in music, than you might have expected 7/

I like how he used copper hardware with the gray cabinets and that gorgeous exotic stone in the kitchen which has a copper color vein in it. The blue ceiling/walls in the kitchen still has me scratching my head...lol twitter.com/14gelly/status/1135173125325426688

Couldn't post on yesterday's long conversations on Adam's career, radio play, etc. So just a few thoughts here.
I will just say that after ten years, lots of artists' career high points are already over. Adam may only have four albums in ten years, but his solo career has been running parallel with one of the biggest gigs in the music business: front man for Queen. So, he has had to compromise a bit on working on his own music. Quite honestly, he's pretty lucky to be where he is, solo wise, with all the gaps due to QAL.
Many singers at the non-arena level (including some AI alums) are always performing somewhere, week after week, year after year. They are on "tour" playing smaller venues continually, virtually all the time.
Adam might have been one of the these types of singers, too. (although his fan base tends to be more international). Adam's major career coup was Queen. We'll never know what his solo career would have been like without QAL. He might have been doing the fifty-weeks-a year small venue thing like so many others do. Instead, he has had fewer solo tours but they have been bigger in scope, covering the US and other countries.
His non-tour solo performances have been pretty infrequent but quite high-profile, often televised. (Elvis, Cher, etc.)
Would we rather have Adam touring fifty weeks a year, every year, in local venues around the US, or would we (and he) prefer fewer, but more high-profile tours? Ideally, to me, I'd love to see him (post QAL) put out an album every couple years and go on an extended tour, like many mid/upper-level artists do. Doesn't have to be arenas.
I don't understand anything about radio play or the which Billboard list is the most advantageous to be on, etc. Adam's fanbase is solid and loyal, but it doesn't seem to grow. He gets a few little blips in followers when he does something high-profile but that blip usually drops after a short time. We all want the same thing for him: longevity, respect, solid fan loyalty, media acceptance/exposure. new opportunities along the way, a real use of his talents for the long haul. Somehow.

Anita must have finished up with "Annie" where she played Mrs. Hannigan. And now she is starting a run in "Fiddler on the Roof." Busy woman! It's great to be in demand.
