I'm eagerly waiting to hear what they have to say about the new songs! Me too! I hope they are all really strong, intriguing, listenable and radio-friendly songs. That's not too much to ask, is it? LOL I hope the songs get good feedback. There are some real gems in there, I'm sure. I wonder how many songs are on Velvet in total? Getting VERY excited! And it looks like we have another single on the way soon! Adam looks like a total dream. I love how everyone likes him wherever he goes. That's a major asset for him. If you like someone personally, you will more likely be drawn to their music. Can't wait for the interview, too.

If you like someone personally, you will more likely be drawn to their music. Can't wait for the interview, too. I wondered how many songs will be on Velvet as well. All we know is Adam said a handful are finished and a handful need more work. Guess it depends on how many are a handful. We now have 7 titles total. Seems like we'd need 10+ to be an album and he's not calling it an EP, but an album. This modern way of releasing new music is so different...it'll be interesting to see how all the songs drop and when. I personally like the dropping of singles often so more singles get heard rather than maybe 2 and then an album drop of the rest. Seems there's hope that he'll be performing FS, NE and maybe one more new one on the 28th....along with another couple of older/hit type songs. I hope the interviews that we haven't heard yet along with the BUILD one on Monday will give us more info on all of this. Kinda interesting that the interview with the German Hollywood dude is being held for 2 weeks so that indicates something is happening around that time and prior to GMA.

twitter.com/billboard/status/1135933525637517313billboard @billboard Our staff chose the 50 best songs of 2019 (so far) 🎵 Check out our picks here: blbrd.cm/isroPi 36. Adam Lambert, "New Eyes" If you still haven't gotten over how goddamn good Niall Horan's "Slow Hands" sounded on radio and everywhere else a couple years back, here comes Adam Lambert to do that song's blues-pop strut one better. Lambert's voice is such a force of nature that you could be forgiven for never even really considering what it might sound like when it's restrained to a sleazy rasp-sigh and a don't-break-the-mood falsetto, but surprise surprise: He sounds pretty great at that too, particularly while writhing over patiently dribbling bass and stadium-clapping snare. Never quite goes for the KO, but that's fine: Even the current frontman of Queen has to occasionally leave 'em wanting more. -- A.U.
