I see, I think I should re word it. Ok That's great that it's increasing. I think this is what I meant: Does streaming that counts toward sales, only reflect from Spotify only, or do they COMBINE with other streaming platforms like Soundcloud etc... Does that make sense? I am just wondering how it helps Adam to stream just ONE streaming site, in other words Would it make sense to stream in different STREAMING sites, because of the combined streams WOULD make a impact OR just stream SPOTIFY or SOUNDCLOUD. Does that make sense? basically: Does streaming other sites affect/help Adam overall in gaining Stream numbers so it can count toward the ALBUMS sales? Or not really, I assuming Spotify, has the best results?? Hope that's better. In my opinion we need to erase from our minds that album sales, which are for what else other than charts? (maybe certification but we haven't seen him too concerned about that, or for sales figures in press releases), are a thing anymore for Adam as an independent artist. Especially for someone who plans to release an album worth of songs in two parts, months apart, in different years even. Maybe he can make the top 200 albums for the year chart, if there is such a thing, but having this release make it top five like his other albums in their week of release I don't think is realistic or one of his goals. Artists make money on streams, no album necessary. For Adam the album concept is part of the marketing strategy giving him something to talk about but again a two part album has no hope of making the charts. Having streams on multiple platforms makes Adam the artist more relevant, and helps his songs get on playlists or him on shows, but it makes zero sense for fans to stream on multiple platforms. They should stream on platforms they find easy to use and easy to listen to. For most fans that will be just one platform that works in their country and on their device(s). I agree with his stated reason for releasing songs one at a time. He's spent so much time creating, selecting, showcasing, presenting each song he wants us to live with each one for a while instead of binge listening. It makes for more fan investment (ie time and energy) and as such is more engaging, more personal.

ladyregent, I don't get what you agree with? That kids should not be exposed to homosexuality? That not having knowledge is a good thing?
Now there was a researcher on Bill Maher last week who said that she felt trans kids should not transition physically until adults, because many of them later change their mind. There was push back from one of the gay guests on the show because the progressive view right now is that kid's know everything. She said that the data does not support that and she felt doing everything short of physical or hormonal changes was fine because those changes couldn't be walked back.

I said; I understand why some are banned. They don't MIND gays (besides religious homophobes), like you said, Adam wasn't banned like Madonna - or Lady Gaga, but I am talking about WHY they were. They were out spoken about LGTBQ rights. Adam wasn't. Just sayin that.. Ignore what he said about Elton or not. But he was talking about children. Thought I would bring it over here, because of Taylor Swift- and her recent kinda black lash - notice in the comments section. imo. We are at a point right now, that people DONT care as much in the states (some people are religiously against it obviously/ some can't change) but in the states, compared to in 2009, it's has improved. To the point if some one like Lil Nas x (who just came out yesterday- the OLD TOWN ROAD ) people don't CARE- noticed in the yahoo section. They were saying 'oh its trendy to be Queer now'. No black lash. Just highlighting the point that times have really changed; and society media hasn't been against homophobic; since 2009- thanks to Adam. The only time it BECOMES an issues for ARTISTs; is if they do it like Taylor Swift apparently??? Any who got work. Again, I don't like him. But I'm just like to see things 'as a whole'. Times has changed for the better- gay artists thanks to Adam and progress.

Gays are still fighting for their rights and equality in the US and other countries. Adam helped some with understanding but he did not cause those changes except with a small segment. He is still fighting for equality for himself in the industry and in general. Homophobia is alive and well but things are better than when he came into the industry. And I think it is too soon to know that no one cares about Lil Nas and his sexuality. Country music has not been very welcoming so we shall see. And I am less concerned about the attitudes of people in the comment sections than I am about the politicians and the Supreme Court and HeWhoCannot amed regarding LGBT rights. It is actually rather scary right now, imo.

So using multiple platforms is definitely a good idea. I posted some info on my website before. I haven't updated it for a bit (too busy), but the idea is still the same: skaschep.wixsite.com/adamlambert-stats/streaming-infoETA: I just read Jablea's post. I agree that it doesn't seem like Adam cares too much about album sales and stuff, but when he comes with the big banger I think he would like it to do well on the charts as a single as well. Then multiple streaming platforms will be needed as the charts don't count repeated streams very much which makes the streams per platform limited. Right now I see using multiple platforms more as giving it some interest. Follow Adam on the platforms that you like will increase his visibility and also the chance for his music to get on certain playlists later on.

Someone, I think Bamafan? mentioned that Adam still owns 2 homes. Do you know if his previous home is still listed for sale or did he take it off market, or renting out. Any idea? Yeah, it was me.....I assumed. Just looked it up via his listing agent and it's still there...saw it at other sites posted in June and it's still there. Still listed at $3,595,000 www.compass.com/agents/la/greg-holcomb/

I hope he sells it soon, I'm sure it's a hassle to deal with, though I imagine he probably doesn't have a traditional mortgage payment to deal with......

Lol, poor Brian is dying to spill the beans. For the first time in forever, I will go to a concert unspoiled simply because the Vancouver show will be the first to reveal whatever they have been cooking. I am SO excited! Last week I went to another classic rock show, by another over-70-years-old performer with an impeccable sound, modern stage design, and a never ending list of hits (see if you can guess the three-letters name of the group ). However, I already owned virtually the same show on BluRay from a 2017 Wembley Stadium recording. So while I enjoyed the vocal and musical perfection that was presented to me live and possibly in even better quality due to the two years of practice since that recording was made, there was really nothing new to surprise me. And then they dropped the only song from my favorite album that was originally included on the set list, so I ended up slightly disappointed... I am counting the days to see the QAL show through new eyes. I cannot imagine how Brian feels counting the days until it is revealed... I'm guessing The Who, but what do I know! LOL

Cross referencing Wembley 2017 and Vancouver June 2019, I get ELO (Electric Light Orchestra)
