I find it hard to believe that QAL would sing for $2 million for 25-30,000 people...unless they're only doing 1 or 2 songs. It wouldn't even be worth it for them to show up for that amount. Why now? A typical arena show brings in $1 to $1.5 million in ticket sales of which is split between the band and promoter. Add to that some dollars for merchandise. But I expect them to be selling merchandise at the private event, so it should be excluded from the fee comparison. But no way a typical arena show earns the band more than about $1 million from ticket sales, even for the largest arenas. So why would they turn down a $2 million dollar fee for a private show? $2 million seems about right to me. I also feel $2m is realistic, but it could be more. Here is an article to put things in perspective: www.warble-entertainment.com/blog/10-most-expensive-bands-to-hire/However, that article reports Elton John to cost $3.5m to hire, and he "opened" for Queen + Adam Lambert back in 2012 Both had successful movies in the past year. Also, there was this report mentioning QAL tickets fetching the second-highest price on StubHub behind the Rolling Stones, and those guys are to be had for $8.1 million. So who knows...

Just showed this to my hubby who replied, “Adam should just come out in a Speedo.” I told him no Glambert would survive that! 😆🤪 LOL You've got a humorous hubby!
