Well, since Freddie is a pretty big part of the concerts, it seems fair that some reviewers assume the concerts are a tribute act (to Freddie), especially with Adam's Freddie speech. But I doubt there'll come a point where Roger and Brian will want to eliminate Freddie altogether; that would cause fans to have get angry for sure. Let's face it, for a lot of the fans, Freddie IS Queen, and Brian and Roger are more or less supporting acts. I'm not into rock music as such, so I don't know how big or small a part a drummer and guitar player usually play in a rock band. It's a conundrum, a balancing act for Roger and Brian for sure. Brian May and Roger Taylor are more than just a drummer and guitar player for Queen. These two along with John Deacon are a large part of Queen's legacy. JMHO.

You are killing me here ...lol, where r u listening? I guess I’ll have to survive till midnight...5 and a half hours to go From The Netherlands. I saw a tweet that said it would be available from midnight and because that always means midnight US I didn’t really get excited. But I was playing with tapping it anyway, just because it felt good to see a new Adam song under my finger. And bang! At midnight it started playing!! It is a big musical song, and really weird. But the more I listen the more brilliant it gets and he is So Good!!! Everyone who knows a bit about singing techniques is going to get super excited. Edit: although it is really different it reminds me of Herod’s Song from JCS, but then more full on. Full choir and orchestra in the background. Damn!! That man is made for this. ❤️❤️❤️ But of course! I knew you are in the Netherlands, but in all the excitement forgot that you are 6(?) or more hours ahead of us... :D

Queen is not your average rock band, all four of them were vital parts of the whole, as writers and musicians. That’s one thing of what makes Queen so unique.

Maximus' song is out in NZ Love that snipper of Adam's song! He just BECOMES the character, through and through. No wonder Lino is so impressed. That song is sheer delight! Can't wait for the whole thing.

I have decided to ignore those reviewers who throw in the "tribute band" thing. They are just ignorant and downright incorrect. The reviews are largely very positive, and thousands upon thousands of fans are loving every single moment of the QAL shows. Regardless of what they are called, they are the best act on tour.
