I have a weird feeling today -- it is the first time Queen is playing in the Philadelphia metro area that I am not at the concert. My original home town. :( That said, the Philadelphia shows are usually interesting because the audience is very loud there. ** On the prospects for a Velvet tour, for TOH at the end they were charging $750 for the VIP and it was front row of GA floor and a fast M&G -- maybe a minute. I did one at Charlotte and they had a shortish line (about 20 people) so it was longer. While he did not go to Toronto for TOH, there were a lot of Canadian fans in Detroit. So there is always that. I may be wrong but Adam has really never done a solo concert in Toronto. There was that KISS WHAM BAM in 2010, but that was a multi-artist concert (unless I am misremembering, I was there so no excuse for not knowing). Has he ever played a solo concert in Canada? I believe he did a concert in Toronto for the Glam Nation Tour

I just scrolled thru my emails from 2016 TOH tour and I had a VIP M&G in Atlanta and it was $524 total. More expensive than I had remembered. That wound up being front row standing GA. There goes my dreams of front row 😂😅 Tbh I’ll be happy if we have a tour. Hope the next song will make it happen. Also, keep in mind the TM adjusts prices based on demand now, so they could get expensive , and by this logic I hope they will. Most of the venues of the previous solo tours were the 1.5k to 5k type theaters (with the exception of Finland where he did arenas) as far as I remember... my personal feeling it’ll be the same this time around...

There goes my dreams of front row 😂😅 You could come to Germany. 😉 A ticket was about 32€ (all standing/GA). An additional early entry tickets got you to the front (120 or 150$ , I don’t remember the exact amount, but it was paid in US $). Or you booked the additional photo option for 350$, which also got you to the front. Depending on how many of those additional tickets were sold and your number in the queue, you got to the front or the second or third row. Or you just stroll to the venue about 2 hours before the show and land in the 7th row or so. Like me in Berlin last time. It was my first solo concert and it was fantastic!

Also he headlined at that huge Balloon Festival in Quebec for Glam Nation (not sure if they got the entire show tho but at least part of it).

Yep, that sounds about right. But he did do two arenas in South Africa too and I think played to larger audiences in Poland (7 or 8K I believe). But overall it would be theaters.

South Africa was only played during the GlamNation tour. I think the biggest audience for the Original High Tour might have been in China and Poland? Although Adam played 2 nights in Sydney and Melbourne and 3 or so in Tokyo. So the total numbers there were also very good. All in all, many venues were sold out in many countries.

Didn't we stand near each other, in the rain, at that concert outside Quebec, where he premiered Outlaws of Love? And drank lots of that Canadian liqueur (I've forgotten the name) afterward? He also did those two early shows in and near Vancouver.
