I'm still in my post-concert blubbering state, but I'll try to write a fairly coherent recap of my Philly concert. Thanks for the wonderful recap, animaldoc! Recaps are never too long and no detail is too small!

That review was INCREDIBLE -- and agree with other Atopers--the article was written by someone who knew or researched Queen music. His appreciation and superlatives re Adam ...no other disclaimers ...well 👍🌟👍!
Wow --how long has it been since a tabloid/ celebrity type magazine has given Adam that kind of spread. So happy to see it related more to Adam's music and life. So positive!
I still shake my head when Javi's occupation is given as a "model". I think there was something re modelling in his university era...but since...seems more like portfolio development. Ok--Might be wrong on that account --and would be delighted to hear or see that is the case. Adam certainly either did not correct that model word/ model fact, or "model" was not used by the interviewer when he asked about Javi the boyfriend. ( perhaps the writer took that from other articles assigning "model" to Javi when Adam and Javi went public ---- and Javi had been posting personal photo shoots with three different photographers at that time.)
Soon back to New York although little time to tour Javi around, or shop. Maybe more time when QAL RETURNS in Sept. 😄

YES, Adam is a "vocal freak of nature" in the best possible way. Great review from Philadelphia written by someone who knows what he's talking about, past and present. Adam has such an instinct for playfulness and joy, a sense of sheer fun.
animaldoc, thank you for the wonderful recap! My show is this Friday in Chicago! Can't wait!
Was great to read that magazine interview with Adam. Sure, we pretty much know what's going on with him, but I loved when he said that he hopes his Playmobil role will lead to some other acting opportunities. I think he got good enough instincts to do justice to an original role of some kind. His Emperor Maximus character shows what he can do with a character with voice and I think he could handle a live role, too. Hope Lino keeps blowing his horn about Adam. New things could very well happen.
And I love Adam with that fan at the end of STL. Silly, sexy and spontaneous.

BTW, I know we're disappointed in the delay of the US release of Playmobil. Seems like some other films have been shuffled around, too, so it's not the only one.
I know it seems logical to get a kids' movie out just before school starts. But kids go back to school awfully early now, anyway. But I think the Dec. 6 release might capture a holiday audience. The movie will be in the theaters for a while (we hope) and kids will be on their holiday breaks. So the movie may wind up with a better chance at the box office after all. Just a thought.
Adam just kills GTPWTW. I've listened a BUNCH of times!

THanks for the recap animaldoc! It amazes me how you can drive and park at these various venues...by yourself. I'd be a nervous wreck. I drove and parked at The Forum once....but I had a car full of helpers with me. Arriving and parking in the daylight isn't nearly as spooky as finding your car and driving in the dark afterwards....especially in big, scary cities. You handle it all like a pro.
