I just got choked on my banana bread —in a good way—when I saw this picture!

Think Adam should swap the long grey waistcoat of Doing Alright for the suit above.... I second that. It's been a while since Adam looked this stunning, especially in a suit. Loved the GMA purple number too, but this more fitted suit is even better. He must have done the shoot shortly before going on tour. Correction: If they did the shoot on July 18, he must have squeezed it in between Phoenix and LA. Busy man.

Maria Ives Adam Lambert and Brian May of Queen at Madison Square Garden 8/7/2019 “I’m gonna call out the pink elephant in the room,” Adam Lambert told the sold-0ut audience at the second of Queen’s two nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night (August 7). “I’m not Freddie.” But, after marveling that he’s been performing with Queen for nine years he said, “I’m just like you: I’m a fan. He’s irreplaceable.” And yet, there he was, an incredible combination of insane vocal power and control and absolute rock star charisma. He has the sense of pomp and kitch and swagger as well as the vocal chops to fill in for Freddie Mercury, one of the greatest frontmen of all time (some might argue that he was the greatest). But from the moment the band took the stage, Lambert owned it; like Mercury, he’s able to front the band through hard rock jams like “Now I’m Here,” “The Show Must Go On,” “I Want It All” and “Tie Your Mother Down,” while also commanding the ballads like “Who Wants To Live Forever” and “Somebody To Love.” But humor was such an important part of Freddie Mercury, and Lambert gets it: when he sings “Bicycle Race” while reclining on a rotating motorcycle, when he fans himself while singing “Killer Queen” or dons a crown for “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions,” you realize that he’s having as much fun with the gig as Freddie did. And it’s really difficult to imagine anyone else fronting the band at this point. Meanwhile, Brian May remains one of the most underrated guitarists in rock; his playing is as diverse as Mercury’s singing was (or Lambert’s singing is). And Roger Taylor is even more underrated among drummers; his powerful style is even more remarkable when you consider that he’s often singing backup, or even lead, vocals. And yes, he did “I’m In Love With My Car,” the subject of a funny scene in Bohemian Rhaposdy. Even though Queen + Adam Lambert (their official name) has been touring together for nearly a decade, there are still Queen fans who are hesitant to see the band with anyone other than Freddie Mercury. (They did an album and toured with former Free/Bad Company/Firm singer Paul Rodgers before Lambert joined). But there’s no better way to pay tribute to the man’s memory than to hear his songs, played by the guys he created them with. Freddie once sang, “Let Me Entertain You,” and Queen + Adam Lambert do an amazing job of continuing that noble mission. 963kklz.com/galleries/queen-adam-lambert-review-photos/

Skaschep I really enjoyed your singing along with Adam. Generally it is very annoying, however, you have a beautiful voice which blended with Adam's voice and it was a pleasure listening to you.

Thank you! I wasn't sure how much would be heard from my singing. It's why I didn't want to stream at first as well, but I took like a pouch with me (in which I normally carry my water bottle with me during the day) and put the phone in there. So when I was standing it was on my hip. I did the same in Washington, but then we were closer to the stage and the music was louder as well. Last night I noticed that the music wasn't completely around us as it was before in Washington so I guess the phone picked up more of my singing. Plus we were seated for some songs as well as at first the whole section was seated. But in the end we stood and everybody behind us did as well. The 700 dollar seats and VIP FAN seats right in front of us still didn't by the way. It was a bit of a weird experience to be around people who sat the whole concert. In Europe I've been standing on the floor like always since the second time I saw them so this was a bit of a new experience for me.

I hope this is not just a rehash of Pride Month. They seem to ask the same questions of what does it feel like to be an LGBT artist and how difficult is it? The answers are always the same and I never see any solutions to make things better. It still seems you have more success if you are quiet about your sexuality until you are a chart success. Yes some get credit for opening doors for others. That is great. Would like to see them get some benefit more than a pat on the back and the go to person to voice what it is like. A few labels really seem to go all out to help their artist. Most don't. You have to make it by finding your own path because some will not put too much effort into helping you. And radio is owned by these big corporations in the US. They have always been the gatekeepers and will continue to be.
Adam looks so good in that photo shoot. He would make a great model. He looks healthy and slim but is not so skinny to the point of looking sickly like some models. He is a very hot and sexy man. Still hoping he will get some kind of endorsement deal in fashion. I see Harry is now doing the Gucci ads. Hopefully someone will see the potential for the Queen Frontman too.
