Adam sings this gorgeously but I agree . NOt fond of TSMGO for an encore.. It also brings Freddie and Adam 's performances next to each other.. More comparisons.. Hard on Adam's voice and for all the reasons you mentioned I was there and I thought it worked beautifully. It was a very powerful moment and added a very dramatic and emotional feeling to the end making that song stand out more than in the middle of the set. The crowd was in awe and applauded loudly. It was like the bridge from Freddie to Adam was explained in music. After that, everyone took a deep breath and released all of their emotion in the closing songs. The entire audience erupted in song. Brian's face was so full of emotion hearing the swell of the crowd singing. What a show! I like that...that's beautiful!

In light of Amber's terrible story, I must say how sorry I am about what happened. No rhyme or reason to idiocy like that.
I am happy to say that my experience was absolutely WONDERFUL. Our seat were pretty high up and a bit to the side, but we could see everything perfectly and no one was blocking our view. The place was ON FIRE! Adam's voice was perfect and he nailed every song.
Highlights for me (too many to mention, but still): KQ, DSMN, BR etc., how can I choose? Brian's solo and his planets set kept people mesmerized, at least where I was. Nobody was chatting or fidgeting. He held that arena like the pro he is. I went with DH and three other first-timers and they were awestruck by both Adam and Brian. And the whole thing!
And I was impressed with Adam including TSMGO in the encore. Talk about vocal strength! It didn't bother me at all that he sang it along with WWRY and WATC. The crowd was loving it. He had everybody mesmerized.
If there is one small thing I might call a criticism, it would be that sometimes the big-screens visuals were just too congested. I would have preferred a few more one-image things going on up there. It was almost too much to look at at times. Sometimes Adam screen image was cut off a bit, not his whole body. That being said, I loved every second of the show. It lived up to all my expectations and more! And my first-timer QAL friends are now Glamberts.

And as to Chicago traffic, we got there really early. No trouble parking. But getting out was the proverbial nightmare. Home at midnight.

@heathermarie_87: .@unitedcenter last night at the QAL show, 4 songs in, your security moved 3 people from their vip row 10 seats because “the seats no longer existed” according to the “promoter” due to the stage being “larger than expected”(1/4)@officialrmt @drbrianmay @adamlambert @livenationil @heathermarie_87: .@unitedcenter they took them out of the venue to the box office to be offered seats that were NOT the same value as the tickets they purchased in December & further back (section 122) or they would miss the show (2/4) @drbrianmay @adamlambert @officialrmt @livenationil @heathermarie_87: .@unitedcenter Their original seats were then taken up by people further down row 10. Why move my friend & her friends bc the seats “no longer exist” to then allow others to take their seats? Makes no sense!(3/4) @drbrianmay @adamlambert @officialrmt @queenwillrock @livenationil @heathermarie_87: .@unitedcenter This is unacceptable. At the very least you need to compensate them for their vip tickets. You have ruined their experience of seeing this amazing show! @drbrianmay @officialrmt @adamlambert @queenwillrock @livenationil please help my very upset friend!(4/4) Wow....can't believe they did that. If this had happened to me.....I think i might have thrown a huge fit. You don't take away the inside, very expensive VIP seats, on a row and allow the other cheaper seat folks get to move in to that space. If anything, you should take the last three seats on that row...not VIP....and relocated them elsewhere. I don't get it. It's bad enough if they squeeze in last minute folks in front or next to VIP folks....but at least they get to stay in their original location. Not many things would cause me to go ballistic....but this would have. Guess I would be watching vids from jail...lol.

I happy to see the Tribune review, and it is a good. I think the first QAL tour in didn't even get a review. I think the second one did. Could be wrong. But this review was very positive. I wish there had a been a bit more Adam-gushing in it, LOL, but then, I am very greedy. Love that video behind the scenes just before the show. Those areas are so unseen my the fans. It was a treat. And yes, Adam did sing those first few lines LIVE before he walked up onstage. I adore this guy.
